why is everyone acting extra crazy about sylus yall don’t even know this man omg relax
I think people, and by people I mean shippers, would be less disappointed and hurt by Stranger Things if they got into their heads that it really isn't a super complex narrative puzzlebox of a show. Usually the simplest/most functional explanation for what happens on the screen is the correct one. Why did Mike throw away El's note? For Sullivan to find it later. Why are Mike and Will next to each other in the final shot while El is in the front? Because El is the protagonist and she is the one who picks up the flower that starts showing the cliffhanger. Why did Will say "they might not like the truth"? Because it's a hint about his sexuality. Why was Mike reading El's letter in front of a closet? Because closets aren't unusual things to find in bedrooms. Etc. B*l*r shippers are like "why do they keep doing this", but they're not doing anything. Normal things are happening and you guys are the ones assuming they need to mean something else when they just don't.
