I don’t think this is very canon-compliant but my favorite headcanon about Crowley calling Aziraphale “Angel” really has to be that he just. Didn’t catch the name when they first met.

And I’m not saying he forgot the name because of The Fall. No, nononono. I’m saying he straight-up did not care about the name of this random angel he called over to create the fucking universe.
