Chapter 1: Why?

Plot: Aether spent days, week, months to find their sibling. It was a pain to remember someone helped you and was able to catch up to his sister to get in the portal. Aether never wanted to give up. Until realization hits him, a vision, a memory given to him made and given by his sister. He trusted them with all their heart. Until that trust is broken by the horrible truth. All the horrible things he had did to his "friends" were meaning less now.

This chapter is full angst!<3

Aether waved at his friends he made while traveling to liyue, paimon who is known to be the traveler's traveling companion. Aether was determined…

Paimon's POV:

"Paimon didn't want to be a burden so paimon just stayed by their side to be the great guide!" They exclaimed.

Both paimon and the traveler are on captain beiduo's ship, it's now night time and paimon wanted to give traveler some space. Paimon looked around and paimon saw food! Paimon wanted to eat but don't want to be a burden to captain beiduo. Paimon was going to the traveler's room given by Kazuha and Beidou but I was startled when a table has been crashed and broke the door. I froze, the yell of traveler made me come back to my senses and when I checked the room..

I couldn't believe my eyes and I looked at the traveler. He.. he.. looked emotionless.. "Paimon. You should knock first" the sentence fell into deaf ears. Paimon was strucked, shocked, concerned and worried.

Third person:

"Just what happened? Everything was fine!" Paimon blurred out frightened. Paimon looked at the broken mirror shards on the floor.

"Paimon.. your a great companion you know?" "Always there for me… but I don't think I wanna travel anymore.." Aether looked at their eyes with a shadow forming on his forehead.

"Traveler! Your sister, we have to travel to look for her. As i said , I will be your guide!" Paimon didn't accept what Aether said to them. Instead of Aether telling why, he walked past them. Paimon looked around the room of what Aether destroyed.

What about the box with accessories given and gifted by Qiqi with the help of Baizu for his sister if he ever finds her?

Anything the traveler was given or gifted was destroyed into pieces by the geo vision. Scattered by the anemo vision.

Paimon didn't want this to happen. Just what happened to Aether?

As paimon was frozen Aether woke up beidou harshly and she looked confused but gave Aether another room to stay for the rest of the trip. Paimon sniffles and lays on the bed that was ruined and ripped out of frustration by Aether. Paimon sobbed and felt like they lost their world that was left since paimon has no memories of who their family is nor have anymore memory of who they were with.

Paimon's POV:

It hurts….

Aether just why?

What happened?

Was it because of me?

Pls don't leave me Aether, your my only family left..

Third pov:

Paimon's eyes blurred as they opened their eyes to see Traveler looking at them disgusted beside them. "Aether! How are you? Are you fine?!" Paimon was smiling and happy that he finally talked to them and looked at them.

"Paimon. I wanna be honest."

"I hate you."

"I didn't want you as family"

"You're a bad friend."

Paimon was strucked yet again, they didn't believe what nonsense came out of Aether's mouth. Full of disgust and honestly was spilling out of his mouth. It was so hurtful that paimon began to shed tears. They looked away in pain, Aether held paimon's head. Paimon flinched and looked at Aether if he didn't mean it.

All that was seen was darkness.

A void.

Empty.

It felt familiar..

Paimon woke up and they aren't on the ripped bed anymore. Paimon was terrified thinking someone kidnapped them.

"Paimon.. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry"
