I love how the first part is all "la de da, I'm steering the ship into the sunset", the second is all "the lady be needing some booty, the boys better be quick", and the third is all "Oh, PYKA! *BOOM* Quick, blow it up!"

No! The pause, the refocus, the smile. How much of "I feel like I belong" was about Nate and how much was TO Myka? Especially sense the next sentence is a in-joke about how Nate does not know this integral part of who she is. But Myka does. Myka knows her better than she knows herself. Myka who worked so hard for Helena to be invited back to the warehouse, to live in the B&B, and who literally gave Helena the power over her life.

Ret!Con with Myka and HG being Hermione's parents accepted. Including both epic and hilarious arguments that started between Myka and HG because of their daughters magical status that grew to include the entire warehouse. Like the massive argument about using artifacts for personal use and the one that became a pillow fight because Pete wanted them to be something cooler than dentists. Hermione's just happy she can go to a school that she has to work in order to keep up (because her moms home schooled her and, well, their her moms).
It Begins
"Helena! Our eleven year old daughter is not allowed to go to a magical boarding school in Scotland. End of story." Myka said strongly as she crossed her arms.
H.G. pouted at her wife. "That was a horrible story. There was no build up, no climax."
Myka huffed. "You aren't getting your way by distracting me with sex. There are three very good reasons she can't go there. She's american. Her parents are warehouse agents. We won't be able to visit her whenever we want."
The british author nodded her head in agreement. "She is american and she is british. We have the passport to prove it. I suppose we could ask Claudia to research the american version and see which school is better, darling, if it will make you feel better."
From her place on the couch where the whole warehouse gang was watching the argument Claudia startled before nodding hesitantly at H.G.'s questioning look. There were some things she would not do for the time traveller and many more, including this apparently, that she would.
"Not the point," Myka mumbled, "but a good idea."
"Secondly, we'll just make up a cover story like we did when she tried public school."
"Ha!" Myka snorted, "that wasn't fiasco enough?"
"Yes darling," H.G. smiled indulgently, "our daughter is far too advanced for regular schooling. That's rather the point. We can teach her about things most people don't even believe exists. Do we then deny her the opportunity to learn where we cannot?"
The curly haired brunette bit her bottom lip in thought. "I don't know if I can go so long without seeing her. She's growing up so fast already Helena, I can't be without my baby that long." Myka blinked away the water gathering in her eyes.
"Oh darling," H.G. gathered her wife into her arms, holding her tightly. "I would never allow it. Obviously we'll just have to find an artifact so that we can visit her whenever we want."
"WHAT!?!" Artie squawked, indignant. "Absolutely no way! And that's final!"
"Artie!" Claudia chided her mentor and father figure, "Moment, you ruined it."
Even better?
Somehow, someway Jaime and Joanne are talking to each other during an awards show (perhaps the Emmys?) and are interrupted by a loud "Mummys!" before being glomped by Meghan. The cameras catch it all.
So I know someone mentioned to tantedrago about meeting Meghan Ory and forgetting to ask about it because of her being…her
To be honest, I did forget too. But right at the end I remembered so I went back and (we’d actually talked about Warehouse earlier when talking about Intelligence and it’s cancellation) I said how we basically had adopted her into the fandom and she bloody loved it!! She seemed kinda stoked to have been like…”hijacked” so to speak by the fandom and I was telling her about how y’all saw all of her Intelligence stuff and just saw her as their future child and shit.
I’m not really explaining this very well, but I then showed her a picture of Joanne and Jaime because she was curious to see them together to see and she was just like “yeah, that’d totally work!” and she was hilarious, being all “I would totally be their child. this is amazing” :’)
and then I asked her to hold that “sign” up (I apologise for the scruffiness of it, I hadn’t had chance to print one off or make a better one during the day so I just had to use one of my photo wallet things) so I could take a picture and she just laughed and was like “definitely! I love this” and was just the sweetest.
So, basically…she loves the idea and definitely approves (and wants to read the fanfic of it too?? :S:D ahaha) Like, she just loved the fact that we’d basically pictured her in this role and how much we love her even though the character doesn’t canonically exist.
All in all, success tbh :D
(I’m sorry if this is a crappy boring story telling of what happened. I got stuck in London after the con last night so had to stay at my brothers and didn’t get to his till almost 3am and I just got back home and it like, torrential down poured on me so I’m just so ready for today to be over tbh :’)) But I hope y’all enjoyed this. Bering and Wells fandom ftw :P)
Kitten Cuddles
"But really Helena," Myka says with a deceptively calm voice (because she is not going to yell at Helena, not when she's back), "you need to teach your cat that naked time is not cuddle time."
"Obviously darling," H.G. drawls back with a smirk from where she is snuggled in Myka's arms, "you have never tried to teach a cat anything."
Myka huffs and nudges the fur purring against her naked thigh. A rough tongue licks at her sweaty skin in retaliation. "Helena," the american agent whines, "he's licking me again."
Helena chuckles and picks Dickens up. "No dear," she coos to him, "that's my job."
Myka's cheeks blush red. "Helena!"
"Myka!" H.G. returns, a grin on her face. The british agent gets up, cat still cradled in her arms, and walks naked to the door.
"Why couldn't you have a normal cat?" Myka asks her lover semi-retorically.
H.G. tisks. "Why would I want a normal cat?" Pulling out a bag of cat treats for it's spot in the safe the inventor shakes it enticingly. Dickens perks his ears in interest and watches intently as H.G. takes out a treat and throws it out the half open window.
"You're right." Myka sighs, ignoring H.G.'s triumphant smirk. "You and normal don't get along so well."
H.G. flashs a brillant smile at her lover, letting her cat slip out of her grasp and onto the floor. "I truly don't. Normal's for other people. Me, I get endless wonder."
Myka smiles back and beckons for her lover to return to her. The cat treats trick won't by them forever. H.G. returns to her Myka (as she always will, her heart says).
Dickens, unwatched, stalks towards the wall the window sits in. With a cautious glance back at his people he turns and jumps through the solid wood.
