and another thing- I don’t want to hear ANYTHING about Bruce’s father and Betty’s father not being gay for each other. Did you see how irritated he was with that man? The tension? We all know they had to have been a thing, then Brian (Bruce’s dad) got into his research and left Thunderbolt (Betty’s dad) and thunderbolt came back to him like a crazy/jealous ex boyfriend who always annoyed their ex partners.

not me projecting on bruce in all of these moments idk can we talk about how INTRINSICALLY betty cares for him?? can we talk about this??
she treats him like how it would be IDEAL to be treated as a disabled person with absolute dignity making accommodations when needed
defending bruce from that taxi driver (a bit more aggressively than she needed to and i LOVE that he teased her about it)
(I MEAN SHE CHASED TANKS FOR YOU AND FACED OFF THE US MILITARY/GOVT SEVERAL TIMES WHAT DID YOU EXPECT FROM YOUR WIFE BRUCE)
ALSO THE WHOLE SCENE WITH MR BLUE HOW MUCH SHE WAS CHECKING IN ON BRUCE ASKING IF HE WAS OKAY AND KEEPING HIM SAFE WHEN THE GUY WAS
you guessed it TREATING BRUCE LIKE A THING throughout the meeting and betty's main focus is bruce and his safety and well being i LOVE HER
she doesn't hold anything she does for him over his head or make him feel guilty for being who he is she asks him what it's LIKE
how does it FEEL reminding him constantly that he's okay knowing that even when the hulk appears he's still bruce I'M EMOTIONAL ABOUT THEM

to THIS ENTIRE MOTEL SEQUENCE and bruce just laying his head on her chest because he's embarrassed but also COMFORTABLE
and betty making him look at her scar to SHOW HIM that she's alright and healing and that they WILL be okay AND THEY'RE SO QUIET and SOFT
