Bible Verses - Tumblr Posts
God made a cool lightning show the other night! I really enjoyed it. The space on my phone is limited, so I wasn’t able to use my good editing apps to add a title to the video. I’m thankful that I was able to add my audio recording.

This is for anyone who needs it.
Turn to god for your troubles and give it to him so you wouldn’t have to hold the heavy weight on your own, talk to love ones, a professional, whoever, just know you’re not alone.
You are loved, you just need to love yourself too no matter the flaws
Matthew 24-25, please read and spread the message, I feel like he’s coming.
I apologized if it’s too much but I felt like i should spread the word. I also apologized if I misinterpreted it but again i felt like i needed to spread this, i know we don’t when he’s coming but i feel like he’s coming and I’m not only worried about myself but for everyone else.
Love is patient, Love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
John 3:16-18 AMP
[16] “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but that the world might be saved through Him. [18] Whoever believes and has decided to trust in Him [as personal Savior and Lord] is not judged [for this one, there is no judgment, no rejection, no condemnation]; but the one who does not believe [and has decided to reject Him as personal Savior and Lord] is judged already [that one has been convicted and sentenced], because he has not believed and trusted in the name of the [One and] only begotten Son of God [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, the One who alone can save him].
John 3:19-21 AMP
[19] This is the judgment [that is, the cause for indictment, the test by which people are judged, the basis for the sentence]: the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. [20] For every wrongdoer hates the Light, and does not come to the Light [but shrinks from it] for fear that his [sinful, worthless] activities will be exposed and condemned. [21] But whoever practices truth [and does what is right—morally, ethically, spiritually] comes to the Light, so that his works may be plainly shown to be what they are—accomplished in God [divinely prompted, done with God’s help, in dependence on Him].”
Romans 16:20 AMP
[20] The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The [wonderful] grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
Matthew 26:41 AMP
[41] Keep actively watching and praying that you may not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.”
1 John 2:16 AMP
[16] For all that is in the world—the lust and sensual craving of the flesh and the lust and longing of the eyes and the boastful pride of life [pretentious confidence in one’s resources or in the stability of earthly things]—these do not come from the Father, but are from the world.
Hey, you know what is best?
2 Timothy 3:16-17,
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
All your research has done is blind you to the reality of conception and pregnancy. Your eyes were always closed. Pro choice just put another blindfold over them
Christians, or far-right zealots?
My right to remove anything from my wife should she be a promiscuous skank and open her legs is God given. I will not be talked down to by a nigger and his whore coworker and told that they outrank the lord. Both of them should be lynched and so should anyone who sees their tyranny as anything but a heretical affront to god himself.
Thank you for bringing attention to the fact that 64% of women report being coerced into abortion - often by family including abusive partners, like yourself. Forcing a women to get an abortion against her will is one of the many reasons why abortion facilities like Planned Parenthood need to be eradicated. From domestic trauma to human trafficking, abortion serves to perpetuate abuse in horrific ways.
I think it’s great that no matter if next person to read this is pro-life or pro-choice, we can all find common ground on agreeing that, whether you are trolling with a sick sense of humor or legitimately believe this, you are a twisted and demented individual.
How dare you speak with threats and slurs and in the same breath say you know what the will of God is!
“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” John 8:44
Matthew 23:14
14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the GREATER damnation.
There are sins worse than others, therefore, there are 'worst sinners' than you.
Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Luke 2:46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?
Jesus Christ took the time to study the laws of his Father in Heaven. I wish anti-christs would follow their father the deceiver's example and read the bible before challenging Christians.
know who never read "the bible"?
jesus
know who didn't write a single word of "the bible"?
jesus
white christians should spend less time studying "the bible" and more time loving their neighbors, feeding the hungry, giving shelter and healthcare and love and the coat off their back to people they don't know and people they don't agree with.
"what would Jesus do"? Call for revolution against Rome (america/capitalism/fascism), fight for universal basic income. Fight for Medicare for all. Fight for housing as a human right. Fight Nestle. Fight Amazon. Fight the military industrial complex. Fight the police, the prisons, the pope, the priests, fox news. Fight until it killed him. Fight until he's executed publicly for speaking against the regime.
Romans 1:24, KJV: Wherefore God also GAVE THEM UP to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves ...
Matthew 7:13-14 KJV
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and MANY there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and FEW there be that find it ...
Matthew 13:9-11 KJV
9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
At the end times, there will be many who will not be saved. Jesus can only save those who want to be saved, and there are those Jesus may not want to save in the first place ...
I feel the need to remind people,
There is nobody Jesus is unable to save
I feel it comes up far too often that I am researching a mental illness or behavior or types of people that people will comment how such people will never be saved, never come to Christ
And I honestly think this is an evil thing to say, let alone publicly, let alone where a record of it is kept for all to see for however long the website is running
Do you have any idea where people who are struggling with all manner of things and looking for help are going to end up? On those exact pages. Do you know where they might look for more information when the article/video/etc waxes on about how rare it is for these people to change or find help? Right in the comments.
How dare the people who post this stuff. To take away the only real hope for the lost. To say ‘this is where everyone can find peace for their soul except for you.’ ‘only those good enough can be Saved’
I have seen people mention being in absolute despair because there’s no help for them even though they want to change. There’s no need to make this even harder.
No sin, no mental illness, no habit, no personality type, no mistake, no past is going to prevent people who put their faith in Jesus’s death and resurrection from being Saved, so stop trying to turn them away and discourage them.
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path." -Psalm 119:105
seeking a homeland
As a child who grew up in the church environment and ideals, my initial naive understanding of God's identity was very much rooted in a superficial belief in His power and goodness and a firm belief in the rewards that would surely come if I chose to say I believed in Him. Everything seemed to point to Him fulfilling promises and proving Himself in my life through the awesome things I was going to receive and witness.
As that child grew up, she learned that not everything she wanted or thought was proper for God to give to her was meant to go her way. In fact, most of what she wanted felt like an ache, an unfulfilled promise. I spent most of my teenage and adult life watching my parents' marriage crumble and eventually fall apart and first blaming myself for not being able to fix it, and then asking God why He hadn't stepped in after all the times I'd asked Him to make it better. Among other things, I didn't really have a clear idea of who I really was, or even what I really wanted for myself, since most of my life was being spent trying to live as an extension of what people thought was right for me to do, who I had to be for them, and what I had to accomplish independently to feel secure about where I was. What I did have a clear sense of was my comfort bubble - what I was willing to do, what I was comfortable doing, and what I would do if needed, and how to present myself to others. I had created for myself, a little homeland where I felt safe, and my life's effort was spent trying to maintain that security for myself.
Starting with the seeds of His Word planted in me from when I was a young kid listening to the stories of the Bible, God was nurturing, in the midst of the pain and confusion, the ultimate confrontation in my relationship with Him. He asks me: Do you know who the Lord Your God truly is? Do you want to know me, or do you want to feel secure in what You think I want for you? Do you want to meet with me and fully enjoy and cherish my presence, or do you constantly seek the shallow feeling of comfort from what I have to offer? Are you willing to surrender your personal homeland and register your name as a citizen of a city you may not see fully manifested during your life on earth?
And in this strange revelation, I'm still journeying, discovering more and more about who He is, and that my trust in Him doesn't have to be swayed by the fleeting events and distractions of a world which isn't truly my home. That it is not my perfection or performance He demands, but my willingness to draw near to Him and surrender all of my safety mechanisms and fallback plans to do so.
The list of famous Israelites listed in Hebrews 11 makes it clear that it wasn't their great accomplishments and abilities and possessions that allowed them to receive commendation - it was trusting in who He is, and making their heart's homeland in Him, first and foremost.
Hebrews 11:13-16
English Standard Version (ESV)
13 These all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. 14 For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland.15 If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.
Freedom to Transform
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:17, 18 NIV)
