She knew he’d be her rock holding her hand. The same goes for Matt’s interview which was also a tearjerker.  The pretend asshole character is a freaking character! That’s the bit, that’s the joke. Because, he’s as far from that as you can get and he’s striving every day to be a better person. That’s why it’s so over the top with the silly insults. No one’s meant to believe any of that, and he’s been playing along.  On top of all that what he was accused of was not even said by him, he didn’t make any comments other than wanting a break from political vitriol because he wanted to work on being a better person.  Guys, I’m bitter, I’m gonna stay bitter for a long while.
