"I've always tried my best to love you, what are you even talking about?” Jimin said.
“You didn't care about me at all jimin, you know how much I was invested in you, you know that I shouldn't be treated this way, then why do you treat me like this, every time?” Now your cheeks were dripping with tears, and your eyes were red from all the crying you did before you left your apartment to meet Jimin.
This was the time when he noticed them, and that’s it. The desolate face you had, those deep red eyes that cried out for Jimin's love, made him fall in love with you all over again. With all these emotions weighing him down, now a feeling of losing you overtook him. At this moment, he felt an unbearable amount of regret.
Even though he had messed up in this relationship before, this time he wasn't lying, he couldn't even imagine seeing you with anyone else but him.
Initially, he was super sincere with his feelings, but he became distracted and he didn’t give you enough time, he became distant from you, he started coming home late, he didn't give you enough attention. As a result, he grew cold toward you.
It was the feelings of loss, the guilt, and remorse-a feeling that went through his mind as he imagined you in someone else's arms that made his feet shaky.
You also knew that the memories of your relationship would haunt you forever, those sweetest memories you shared with him, and those peaceful afternoons, when you felt safe in his embrace, would not let you live.
After reflecting on his own emotions, he finally gathered the courage to speak. "You are not going to leave me, are you?"
Silently staring at his face, you stared into his eyes deeply. Your eyes said a lot.
"Are your eyes telling the truth? I need an answer now." He said getting afraid of the emotions he was about to feel.
You nodded.
However, deep down you knew it wasn't true.
You knew although you might not be together, you know you will always love him forever because you know that true love cannot be replaced, you will never be the same about anyone again because, you can give away your heart only once, and you can also can’t deny the fact that he already earned it!
“Don’t hurt me, don’t leave me, please.” He said this as his hands almost came close to his face to hide his tears.
"No, please!" He yelled in disbelief.
As you began to walk away, the distance between you and him started to get larger and larger. The further you distanced yourself, the more he was hurt.
“Stop, I want you to hear me one last time"
Your attention was immediately caught, and you wondered what he was going to say next.
“I would like you to at least fulfill my last wish"
You agreed.
As he whipped his tears with his hoodie sleeve, he said, “Can you kiss me, one last time, that’s all I ask for”.
Upon hearing these words, you felt your heartache as you tried to hide the arousing tears that were about to fall from your eyes. You tried your best to hide the tears, but you could not.
All of this was his mistake, and he knew it.
With him stepping closer, he removed the distance between both of you. He cradled your hand, and you could see his eyes were filled with sincerity.
Afterward, he took your face in his hands, pecked your cheeks, and placed a gentle kiss on your lips, which made your eyes all watery, and made you reconsider your decision.
Despite the fact that the kiss lasted for one minute, you freed yourself from his grasp. You stepped backward again, seeing him cry relentlessly. You couldn't bear to see him in such pain but you had no choice.
You ran away from him wiping your tears off, as you left him kneeling down on the ground screaming your name.
