Grumpus oc.
His name is Hensel Pinwood
Cromdo doesn’t really like him
Hensel just doesn’t understand the mumbo jumbo Cromdo spits out
Hensel believes that physical weight helps with stress, so he takes it upon himself to help his two favourite grumpus’ get enough love.
Filbo is a bit confused but likes it, while Buddy can get frustrated because they want to be somewhere but doesn’t dislike it.
Hensel be stimming.
This includes repeated words, hand flapping, pacing and something I like to call ‘surface smacking’
Where he rapidly smacks his paws on a surface repeatedly.
If he does not have a surface he will do it on his thighs.
Mats sprout on the back of his neck like dandelions, Triffiny tries to stay on top of it but when you stay in an archeological site located in the desert and the one you want to brush not only lives in the snowy mountains; but also hates the heat, it’s very difficult.
Also Snorpy likes to stick little tracking devices and the like in his scruff, Triffiny isn’t very amused when she finds them.
When Hensel and Chandlo are together they tend to hype each other up, not bad if it wasn’t accompanied by them attempting more and more stupid things. Their excitement bounces off each other like a computer screen saver. Snorpy is glad that Chandlo has fun but thinks that Hensel can be a bad influence even if unintentionally.
Sometime after the post game where Buddy, Hensel and Filbo live together, they still have guilt and nightmares, but they have each other.

My attempt at a bugsnax monster Hensel. Due to him dwelling in the colder areas he maintained a lot of his fluffy fur. He catches prey with his hunnabee tail.
Hensel deeply respects Wambus and his work, but has little self control when it comes to food and regularly steals sauce from his farm.
His favourite is the chocolate sauce.
Wambus holds him under the armpits and takes him to Filbo when caught. Hensel goes limp and doesn’t resist when he is grabbed because he knows he did bad but still can’t help himself.
Beach chats
Hensel and Gramble sometimes just sit down for long periods of time and just chat. The subjects are random and sporadic, just things that come to mind; they are chill buds who destress in the sand.
Hensel has a strict “no eating or talking about the consumption of bugsnax” with these talks
Gramble is touch starved and Hensel is trying to get him more used to positive touch again, he usually leans slightly on him as opposed to hugs to try and make him feel less caged
Hugs are not off the table, though Gramble has to give permission before it’s ok.

Whenever they fight it gets real intense.
Wambus fights like a trained police dog; calm and powerful, careful to make sure he gets out of the fight least injured as possible
Gramble on the other hand is a feral cat, he goes all out with the intent to maim and seems to not care for himself.
Anyways, I tried to draw the vibes I get when they fight.

I feel like Hensel would be a good parent, although he would be best co parenting with the other survivors.
Hensel met this little girl as an egg after snaktooth, which was found in a box near his apartment, and he quickly got attached.
The first grumps he told were Snorpy and Chandlo, both who he was closest to.
He goes to the couple for advice frequently, much to bafflement of Snorpy, and the joy of Chandlo.

It’s spooky season!
My inspiration is pretty obviously Frankenstein’s monster.
I think it personally fits Floofty’s and Hensel’s dynamic.

Hensel’s daughter finally has a name!
Emalia is a teenage grumpus who works part time at a caffe, and still lives with her father Hensel.
She has an interest in archeology which Triffiny was absolutely stoked about, she shows Emalia all sorts of trinkets from her adventures to her, and got her a bone shaped hair clip for her birthday.
Her tail kinda grew out funky due to it getting pinched under a rocking chair as a grumpling.

A sibling argument
This is an argument I imagine takes place a little after Floofty’s guillotine stunt.
I decided that Snorpy should have a kinked tail as well, but instead of Floofty’s which was a birth defect, his got crushed under an invention of his.
Poor Snorpy is going to start balding at the rate the Floofty is going.
Hensel and Shelda
Hensel is worried about her starving, though he doesn’t really approach her for multiple reasons.
One is that she resides in the desert and he hates the heat.
The other and main reason he doesn’t confront her is that her yelling kinda scares him.
