I’m just clarifying this for future use, but I cannot and will not continue to support D*sney/LF when seeing how they treat a certain portion of the fanbase on twitter especially.

Here’s an idea, if the majority of your company finds a pairing ‘toxic’ and ‘problematic,’ maybe don’t make it canon and then proceed to basically gaslight fans into thinking everything they saw on screen was wrong. To parade around and be like ‘star wars is now for women, the force is female!’ to lure in new female fans, then let your staff treat them like crazy cat ladies and twilight fans, fuck right off. I’ve personally never felt more disrespected as a female fan since you bought the rights lmao. What gets me more pissed off is the obvious baiting to sell tickets and merch, then now you’ve made your money, it’s like “nah! YOU;RE ALL FUCKING NUTS!!”

So anyway, I’ll still reblog fan creations from the ST and gifsets, but I won’t be buying any more merch, books, comics ect. Anyway, back to watching actual good media! Also, stan media that isn’t afraid to be shameless about romance and loves engaging with their fanbase.
