So Really - Tumblr Posts

Iā€™m just clarifying this for future use, but I cannot and will not continue to support D*sney/LF when seeing how they treat a certain portion of the fanbase on twitter especially.

Hereā€™s an idea, if the majority of your company finds a pairing ā€˜toxicā€™ and ā€˜problematic,ā€™ maybe donā€™t make it canon and then proceed to basically gaslight fans into thinking everything they saw on screen was wrong. To parade around and be like ā€˜star wars is now for women, the force is female!ā€™ to lure in new female fans, then let your staff treat them like crazy cat ladies and twilight fans, fuck right off. Iā€™ve personally never felt more disrespected as a female fan since you bought the rights lmao. What gets me more pissed off is the obvious baiting to sell tickets and merch, then now youā€™ve made your money, itā€™s like ā€œnah! YOU;RE ALL FUCKING NUTS!!ā€

So anyway, Iā€™ll still reblog fan creations from the ST and gifsets, but I wonā€™t be buying any more merch, books, comics ect. Anyway, back to watching actual good media! Also, stan media that isnā€™t afraid to be shameless about romance and loves engaging with their fanbase.

ID: A screenshot of an article written by Zachar Cimaglio. The title is; "TMNT: Mutant Mayhem Team Made Sure Animators Weren't Overworked." The Sub-Title reads; "Mutant Mayhem director Jeff Rowe says he allowed animators to clock in as little as three days a week and let them work from home when requested." Attached is a screenshot of the movie. All 4 ninja turtles are screaming inside of a car, as the villain jumps on the hood. The perspective is from the front of the car, with the villain abstracted in the right side of the image. End ID

God I love this movie

ID: a screenshot of an article, white text on a dark grey background; "The film's director, Jeff Rowe, said that the producers, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, motivated him to ensure a healthy work-life balance for the team involved with Mutant Mayhem's production. Rowe reportedly worked with Rogen directly to make sure animators had time off from the work when needed and that the studio could make accommodations for employee's desired schedules." The next part is underlined in red: "I never want the team to be suffering more than I am," Rowe told Insider. "I also hopefully am suffering more than the team because I'm the captain and I'm paid to absorb that, and they're not." End ID.
