You and Caleb have been recently going through an adaptation phase, to say the least.
It has been six months, half a year since Grandma died, and it's not like you two weren't close before, far from that actually, but you two had a life of their own, their own goals and achievements to pursue. It's just that maybe unknowingly or knowingly it's like there was a tilt in the axis, there was a disturbance in the gravity that would make you seek each other's comfort.
And well, in short, it has resulted in Caleb visiting you at your place to "hang out" which was a pretense to check on you, and well you started crying again and then he cried too (as much as he REFUSES to admit it because according to him he's a macho man, yes, this always make your eyes roll.) But then you or he kissed him or you, you guys gave up a long time to know who started because regardless of who did it, it was a fact that it was reciprocated, intense, and very not something that two friends who were raised together by the same person in the same house would do.
It was weird, to say the least, you remember discussing with Caleb and he had his hands on his head while you two were on the table after the kiss and you remember him muttering "Am I a perv? Maybe I should go to jail." And you two proceeded to argue because goddamn you were an adult?? Hello??? Also, you two weren't blood-related so technically...
Anyway, it was odd and you two were navigating it, Caleb struggled with the "morality" of the situation and you tried to be patient but dang this was kinda getting to you.
Was it because your body wasn't that much of an adult? I mean yeah, you're not tall (5'5 is an absolutely average height for a woman in Linkon City thank you very much.) but it didn't help that you were kind of a tomboy and was flat as a board and also looked like a stupid child, I mean yes you can wear baby tees and you don't need to be forced to wear a bra but damn...
Maybe if you had at least a B cup it wouldn't be so hard, maybe people wouldn't get confused and ask if Caleb was your dad or big brother and he wouldn't spiral down into some weird guilt he feels.
The truth is you have always been self-conscious about it, who doesn't wish to have a different body right? But now that you had someone you want to look at you, to admire you, and to wish for you, your body and soul the little things that you didn't like about yourself started to speak louder.
So, that's the context as to why you are right now in front of a mirror in the living room rubbing your chest, like if maybe you pass your hands on top of it again the titty genie will show up and grant you 3 letters above of boobs to you.

He catches you from behind putting his hands under your armpits and lifting you up like a troublesome cat, he turns you to be greeted with a very displeased girlfriend.
"Hey... I was joking come on don't be upset pipsqueak." He pats your head messing with your hair which earns him a scoff.
"You were an ass you know?" You say pouting, crossing your arms. As much as Caleb didn't want to mess up this new path you two took, he couldn't deny that you were flipping cute, all pouty and mad, he wanted to squeeze your cheeks and also kiss your pout away and take your breath and see your out-of-it face.
"I know I know and I'm sorry Pipsqueak but where did that comment come from tho?" He asks still confused about the comment earlier, you look away, and suddenly you feel kinda dumb for associating that your current relationship was complex because of the size of your boobs instead of just confessing that you were insecure. Caleb watches you go silent and look away, he sighs and raises his hand to hold your chin and gently make you look at him again.

"Uh yeah, of course, I thought you knew that already." He says a little bit calmer but also a little bit concerned, he didn't know you had low self-esteem, you've either developed this now or you're really good at hiding it.
"I mean kinda? You never said it like that tho."

Yeah, Caleb will jump out of the car now that for sure, goddamn he gotta be the worst boyfriend in the world.
Caleb puts his hands on his head again, you like to call it the pose of the deep state of agony like he's an animal from Discovery Channel.
"Pipsqueak, you're literally, the prettiest, and coolest girl I've ever seen, and that's literally the hottest thing a woman can have," He lifts one finger, "A fierce personality," and he lifts another finger, "and a cute face." He says it like he's explaining a serious boy's top secret and that makes you giggle feeling like you've been told intel from enemy land, which results in Caleb answering with a boyish grin of his own.
You pull him into a hug and he quickly melts around you like a blankie despite him being a idiot, he's your idiot.
You hear Caleb groan and hug you tighter you squeak like a dog toy and hit his back asking what happened.
He will NEVER tell you that he just remembered that small boobs are more sensitive and that you could sing so nicely to him.
He groans again, he's going to hell, definitely.
