What I wrote for #liveforthestory (Canon UK and Dodie)
Freedom; what a concept. Freedom is liberating, empowering; like a freefall. Freefalling is also out of control and terrifying. The power of freedom is a concept that makes me shiver with anticipation. In my life, I have had some grasp at freedom, thanks to the parents I have. Yet, freedom was found in things as a 4 day holiday with friends or a week long math olympiad in another continent. Yet, it ended just as it came. Now, as I see freedom lurking in the next months; it is bittersweet. I'm excited and horrified. I can't wait but please don't let it come that soon. I'm dealing with this dread, having conversations with the Downie Debbie in my head. I can clearly see the adventures to come, the fun I'll have and the problems I'll happily conquer. I have worked so hard and it's finally paying off. I will pack a bag, I will wander off. I shouldn't but I will look back. Fears and all, I will continue as strong. -Yes I am afraid, but how I want it right now.- #liveforthestory - A story of studying abroad.
