Okay so my theory is that they are “mysteriously funded” through trusts that captain Shugazoom put in place (or rather his alter ego Clayton) he was a rich guy and also a super hero with a secret identity... if we are going off of Batman rules it’s not hard to assume that there is a way to make the Monkey team’s money untraceable and if the captain did it right it could have BEEN A LOT OF MONEY GO TO THE MONKEY TEAM WHEN HE DISAPPEARED (aka died kinda legally speaking)

I completely forgot how baffling the idea of how much money the hyperforce has and how they possibly have it.

Regular police running into the hyperforce family at any giving time...

My theory is that mandarin was literally the prototype for the actual monkey team. He probably would have been upgraded along with the rest of the alchemist wouldn’t have been curupted... and also I think he took the place of captain shugazoom kinda in terms of leadership. Like he was always gonna be in charge of everyone but I think he would have been direct accountable to captain shugazoom if things would have gone as planned

Was Mandarin...like finished way ahead of the rest of the team? Like walking around all cyborged up while the rest of the team was being worked on?
