I kinda like the idea of all the stress in this situation; like none of them not even mandarin went I to this 100% ready to betray each other and such and in reality it just blew up dang; some real stuff

the one thing that gets me about that mandarin flashback is how surprised/dismayed he looks when Antauri and the others are leaping towards him armed and ready to take him down. It looks like he barely had time to react and active his own weapons before they got to him. I guess the monkeys did not wait or talk things out in a way that'd clue mandarin in on their severe disagreements with him. mandarin's a jerk and i doubt he'd stop his ambitions back then, but it still looked painful for him.

I’d say he looked more like he was in pain than he wassurprised/dismayed. Which considering how he looks when he gets out of theH.O.O.P.… Uh yeah I’d say he’d be justified in that.
