The new and improved version of my 1st My Hero OC: Izanami Ayami aka Cataract.

Quirk: Dark Sight

She can blind enemies but, it weakens her own eye sight. If she uses it too much she herself becomes blind temporarily, which is why she carries a weaponized cane around.

The Dark Hero: Cataract

Quirk: Dark Sight

Izunami’s Quirk allows her to blind any enemy she looks at while wanting to blind them. This does however decrease her ability to see with every person blinded. This is why she carries a battle cane with her.

The Blinding Hero: Cataract Quirk: Dark Sight Her quirk gives her the ability to blind opponents but, it inflicts partial blindness onto herself. Although this is her main ability, her power can manifest in "different" ways.

First T-Shirt Design!!! Hope to get the sale part all set up!! I wanted to do some action shots for the shirts. I already have the sketches done for Red Serpent, and Rime. Hope you all have a super day!!!

Did a bit of a palette change and slight redesign. Hopefully i'll be able to replicate this look many times from now on. I wanted to make it more visually appealing and easy for my new animated project. I might also start on some comics for it.

I have been hard at work creating stuff for the Anomalous. I am working on a comic first so that way you guys can experience the story sooner. I am very excited to finally get to tell the story that I have been working on.

I needed the colors to stand out a little more from her. Still not sure which coloring I'm going to go with.

Happy Pride Month from the Anomalous! I hope that my fellow members of the LGBTQ+ community have a very good month. I will be posting more characters with their respective flags.

Ira Fey aka Cataract!!!!

I finally got to the main character. This design is kinda set in stone, at least for a bit. You can check her out through my comic series.

I decided to add her "corrupted" form as well (not sure if the corrupted name is going to stick).

I believe next I will be working on Raikiri to complete the main 5 characters. Then I might move on to some finalized side characters and villains.

I hope to work on more stuff soon.

I would first like to say that the auditions for the character are still going. I wanted to post this as a way to show how dedicated I am to actually doing the project.

I decided to start the animation of voice lines with the first ever person to send one in. Their user name is Chasin' The Dream. I love their voice and have already told them that even if this role doesn't work out, I would still love to work with them either on another project or just in another role.

I loved doing the animation for this. Seeing my character come to life. And I hope to do the same with everyone who sends in lines.

I did also do a version of animation using a line from SheRa using the voice of Catra (AJ Michalka) just to see if that was an avenue I might want to take in the future. Check that out later!

But, do not let that diswade you from sending in voice lines. I still want to see if this is the route I'm going to go. Nothing about the casting is set in stone yet.

I really wanted to see if I would like AJ Michalka as Cataract. Mostly because, I thought it would be cool to have her as my character.

I'm a huge fan of her voice work. And I personally would love to work with her. Though, I would definitely not be able to get her as the character because of money.

I have been hard at work on animating and illustrating for The Anomalous. It has been a bit hard to work on it with work and college taking up most of my time but, it is turning out okay.

I am currently working on more voice test animations so, you can expect a new one relatively soon. The next one is going to have more motion than the Catarct Voice test. I might not release tons of the same character everytime I do one of the same line. But, I will send the finished lines to who ever did the line to see if they like it.

I want to make this as exciting as I can for you guys. Hope to get some more audition entries soon.

Cataract in a Deku cosplay!!!!

On my drive home from college, I thought, "I never gave Cataract a full origin story." Even though I haven't released much on the series since I started working, I really wanted to do a bit more world building.

At one point, I thought about her costume origins. And I thought I should make it iterative. And when I thought of the base, I thought it would be fun if it started as a Deku cosplay!

So, here is Cataract in a Deku cosplay.

PS, the one in the actual colors, was a happy accident. I used the android filter of sunroof,and it changed the colors perfectly!

I was doing school work while listening to music, and the song Hero Too from My Hero Academia came on. I finished the assignment but then immediately started working on this. I finally finished it using tools from Clip Studio Paint for the background.

I think the piece turned out pretty well, and I think I'll make it a bit more of a habit to try out new styles from time to time. But, just know, I am still working on my pilot. Though, because of the scale of the project, I do need to break up that time to not make it a chore. So, I am currently working on an animation that I have been wanting to do for a long time.

I would like to remind people that roles for the pilot are still available. I have gotten quite a few for Cataract and Timber, but I still need the other voices. So please check out the post on casting and see if there are any roles you would like to do.

It's my 4 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳

Thought I would post the first shot I finished for a test first episode.

While I was working on the new character designs, I realized that Ira had the same design set for a long time. I thought I might try to add some old details I loved and add some new ones. I also wanted to try different hair styles, so I created these designs.

I am unsure about the abyssal corruption form, but that can be changed later.

I hope you enjoy these design changes for the main character. And please tell me which is your favorite version of her.

[Note]: I accidentally used an 8 pixel brush instead of a 5, so the design is slightly different from the other character designs.

I was hit by an urge to draw a couple of nights ago. But, I noticed my art was pretty rigid. So, I decided to just try starting with the expression. From there, I sketched and inked this image. The next day, I colored it. So, I thought I should post this since I haven't made much in a while.

I decided to try doing some rough draft toy designs for some of my characters. Might actually make some one day.

I'd love to finally get both of my series off the ground. I have so many plans if all goes well!

I am currently working on the important character designs for episode 1! I also started doing some animation for it.

I have been tirelessly working on this since April. I wasn't sure what to do for it, but I didn't want it to be a repeat of last year.

So, I decided to show off all the redesigns of the main characters. But, since Raikiri's design is not done (and because he is only an ally, really). I didn't add him this year.

I was also working on some sketches of Anilius and Avery for another piece. But, I thought it would fit the theme. I will try to finish it before the end of the month, but I have a lot of stuff going on. So, a lot of my projects are going to take longer.

The Anomalous Episode 1 Parts 1 and 2!!!

I am so happy to finally show you some progress on the actual shots!!!! I have been really busy getting ready for college and work, so I haven't had a lot of mental power to continue progress. I will hopefully keep working on this soon and start finishing these shots.

I'm still looking for test voice actors for the two thieves. So I can complete dialog shots. Just to get those done soon.

I wanted to start creating promotional material for The Anomaous. This is my latest attempt with the new design! I really enjoyed working on this.

It only took about 4 hours. At the time of finishing this, it is around 5:30am. I really wanted to finish it before going to sleep.

I look forward to making more character cards for the other members and maybe a sneak peek at some early villains!
