little creature I found last night scuttling in the rain. i believe they are part of the cherry millepede family (Xystodesmidae), probably in the genus Dicellarius. image id in alt text.

theyre just a little guy! i found them on my driveway while taking trash out last night. they were so chil and tbh they didnt want to go back outside but alas my mom didnt want them in the house lol tw insect insects millipede cherry millipede also i got a new phone so the image quality is a bit better than my old one
