so every year they give out national awards for band and choir students (and usually they're seniors of some type)

this year, was my last year performing with a choir, and i've been in choir programs since fourth grade (when they let me join the choir.)

I HAVE OFFICIALLY GOTTEN MY NAME INTO THAT LISTING. I HAVE WON THE NATIONAL CHORAL AWARD FOR 2024 IN MY DISTRICT

i sobbed like a little baby when i won, and i'm honestly so grateful for everyone that helped me get here.

If you guys ever get the chance to check this out, I was a choir student and got to have one of the most amazing trips of my life to New York to perform in Carnegie Hall in 2018. Being a member of a choir this big was one of the most ethereal experiences of my life.
