She met Sugawara-senpai under a cherry blossom tree one day in early April,she was immediately captivated by the adorable boy.She was aware of his participation in the school's volleyball team,and she herself was interested in the sport itself.That sport was kind of the reason they started a conversation in the first place,

Nishinoya-kun from her class was ill and she had been assigned to deliver him his homework but she didn't know where he lived.Fortunately she caught a glimpse of the silver-haired upperclassman a little before he entered the gym.

"Excuse me Sugawara-senpai."she bowed."I'm (l/n) and Nishinoya-kun is in my class,he must be ill so I've been assigned to give him his homework for today but I don't know where he lives."she looked in his kind eyes and smiled awkwardly.

"Ah yes Noya is coming down with fever,I was going to practice and then drop by his house to check on him so you can give me his homework and I'll pass it to him."he smiled back kindly and the girl let out a breath.

"That would be so kind of you,thank you."she passed the file with the papers in it to him and flushed a bit when she briefly touched his hand,unaware of course of the light pink tone his ears had turned to too.

She said goodbye and left the school.

Though the fever Nishinoya came down with was more serious than it seemed,resulting to (f/n) having to deliver his homework for the rest of the week,that itself never happened since her upperclassman insisted that she shouldn't have any contact with an ill person,taking the homework from her each time to deliver it himself after practice.

And that's how their friendship blossomed,from saying hi to the hallways,into small talk and eventually exchanging numbers.The girl became more interested in volleyball and Suga-senpai as she now called him,was ecstatic about it,wanting to teach her the basics he awkwardly asked her to join in the practice where most of his classmates teased him about her when she showed up,making her blush.Oddly enough she liked it a lot there,the atmosphere,the people,and Kiyoko-san suggested that she should become a manager since Kiyoko was a third year and would be leaving after this year.Everyone was keen with the idea and welcomed her with open arms.

Her romantic relationship with Suga-senpai started on the 28th of April when they were both the last ones remaining in the gym on cleaning duty.She was placing the last bar of the metal rods of the net with his help,without even realising that he moved Infront of her the moment the bar was in its' place.Her face locked between his soft hands,plump lips pressed onto hers.

It was now their first practice match with the infamous Aoba Johsai Highschool,now dating with Koushi for almost three weeks (f/n) was a little disappointed because her boyfriend wouldn't be playing.

She really hated seing her team fail miserably against the opponent,she also felt bad for Hinata's anxiety.It all skyrocketed when Hinata hit Kageyama's head when he tried serving.She tightly gripped her boyfriend's hand,his thumb caressing the top of her hand affectionately.

It seemed so after that failure Hinata collected himself and it was a shock for all when he hit that quick they'd been working on with the genius setter.

Surprisingly karasuno won the second set and the team gathered around for a quick talk before they moved onto the next and final set.

She though,had gone to fill her water bottle,while she was returning to the gym she bumbed into a hard surface just before she opened the door to the place.Looking up she was met with a chocolate gaze eating her whole figure up.

"Oh sorry,I didn't see you there."a smug voice said,the eyes still skimming over her.It was only fair if she did the same.

She liked his unruly curly hair,his big hazel eyes,his symmetrical face,his height,the seemingly toned body of his.

He wore a school uniform,but it was different,it looked like it was for volleyball practice.

"Aren't you a little bit late for the match?"she asked and he chuckled.

"Well I was just now in the nurse's office,she had to make sure I was in a good shape to play so I don't injure myself again."he replied and opened the door for her.

"Oh,okay I guess."she slipped in and quickly made her way to the bench.

"Hey you came just in time."her boyfriend smiled at her.The set started and karasuno was in match point pretty quickly.

The boy from the hallway suddenly appeared in the court as a pitch server,a smug smile on his lips once again.He scored two points for his team in no-time but karasuno won in the end.

Still it was surprising how precise the boy's serves were.

The boy appeared to be the captain,she saw Daichi-senpai talk with him and laugh along,when he returned,the captain of the "flightless-crows" told everyone that they had been invited to a house party as a team which was getting started in about two hours.

Most of the team cheered and everyone went back to the vehicle.She returned home,telling her parents that she'd be staying at a friend's for tonight.Being a Friday they allowed it.

The girl showered and blow-dried her hair,applying a little bit of make up.She wore a white tennis skirt and a black karasuno volleyball club jersey with a white collared undershirt underneath.Quickly pulling up her white sneakers,she spritzed a little bit of perfume and fled out of the door.

She met with everyone outside of the school's gym,her boyfriend complimenting her outfit and making her blush.

They all took the bus to the address Daichi-senpai had been sent over a text and after a ten minute walk from the stop,they found the house,already blasting with music and flashing lights.

Tsukishima was about to press the bell but the tall boy,captain of Aoba Johsai's volleyball club opened the door with a smile greeting them all in.The room was spacious,and held a lot of people,some dancing to the electro pop music,some conversing,and others well...you know.

She felt a tug on her right hand,turning to that direction she saw her boyfriend.

"Hey how about I go get us some drinks,I don't trust anyone else."he said and she nodded.

"Yeah but don't be gone for long,I don't see anyone I know."he nodded back and squeezed her hand in response.

She stood alone for a moment,until a presence loomed behind her,a hand turning her around.With a gasp she wad ready to smack whoever did it,but she quickly drew back when she realised it was the boy she bumbed into earlier in the day.

"Hey,where is your team?"he asked her

"I don't know."

"So you're alone?"

"No I'm actually waiting f-"

"Great,come with me I want to dance and Iwa-chan won't join me." who the heck was Iwa-chan?

"I don't even know your name."

"Oikawa,Tōru Oikawa,yours?"

"(l/n),(f/n) (l/n)."

"Cool let's go dance (f/n)-chan!"he said and grabbed her wrist dragging her into the place where sweaty bodies danced to the beat.She internally wheezed at his informality and closeness.

The hand around her wrist guided hers onto the boy's nape.She blushed,not being familiar with anything like this.She kind of felt bad for her boyfriend,but she immediately pushed the thoughts aside,she didn't have to feel anything remotely bad since she wasn't doing anything sinister with the brown-haired male.

"So you're from karasuno huh?"he asked while he put his hands on her waist and started rocking to the music.

"Yeah,I'm a manager for the volleyball club actually."

"Third year?"

"No, second,you?"

"Third."

"Oh,you're pretty good at volleyball by the way,are you going to continue professionally?"

"Thanks,yeah I think so.What do you want to do?"

"I'm interested in psychology and theology so something with these I guess."

"Interesting."

That was all they said as they looked into each other's eyes and danced.It was like that for a while,until a cough interrupted them.They both turned their heads,it was Suga,two cups in his hands.His face didn't show any emotion,the girl unlaced her hands from Tōru's neck and smiled at her boyfriend.

"Hey,took you long enough."she took the cup from his hand and now his free arm sneaked its' way to her waist pulling he close.

"Yeah sorry about that love,a lot of people were waiting to get a drink.Hey Oikawa-san,nice party by the way."their attention shifted to Tōru,his look was the one of surprise but he quickly masked it with smugness.

"Sugawara-chan,nice to see you having fun,thanks."with that he left the couple alone.

The night continued,(f/n) had fun with her boyfriend and classmates,at one point she felt a bit overwhelmed so she opted to go outside for a bit.Upon an arrival at the deck outside,Tōru turned around only to find her,looking back at him.

"We always bump into each other don't we?"he teased and she hummed,joining him to the couch there.

"It really is a nice party."she said and his face turned a little bitter."I'm having fun,are you though?You seem a bit,down."she continued.

"Ah yes,oh it's just that we lost thanks to my absence today but I am having fun don't worry."they stayed silent for a while until he spoke up.

"So are you dating Sugawara-chan?"he said out of the blue and her eyes widened.

"Uh yeah."

"Must be nice."

"I guess,I haven't had much relationship experience to be honest but he's nice."

"Is that what you call your boyfriend,nice?"she frowned.

"What should I call him?He's a good boyfriend."she said plainly.

"Do you like him?" he dared to move closer to her but she didn't notice,and if she did,she didn't comment on it.

"Obviously,I mean I have to in order to be with him don't I?"

"That doesn't sound very convincing,no offense to the guy but he doesn't seem at all spontaneous."

"Koushi isn't spontaneous,he's...good."

"But isn't good boring?"he pressed

"Not particularly,and why do you care?"she pressed back.

"Because from the moment I saw you I haven't been able to get my eyes off you,and I know you do too,I saw the way you shamelessly checked me out when we first met today."he was now facing her front,she could smell the faint scent of cologne and it was intoxicating.

"I,that's not true."she looked everywhere but him.

"Isn't it? The way we danced radiated tension darling,you can't deny that at least."his hand dared to grip her throat harshly,but not hurtfully.Her breath hitched,and she felt her face turning red.His mouth blew breaths onto her face,the scent of mint and a hint of alcohol evident.

It was too intoxicating,the party,the buzz,the alcohol she consumed,him.Without thinking she pressed her lips onto his,and he immediately returned her energy.It wasn't sweet,it was sensual,patches of flesh hungrily devouring each other.

The hand on her throat tightened,and an other went on her thigh,gripping hard,her right arm linked onto his hair.His tongue slipped In her mouth,asserting dominance at an instant.

They made out for a while but it finally downed upon her that she was in a relationship.She unhooked her hand from his hair and pushed him away.He looked taken aback.

"I shouldn't have done that sorry.You're right,I have to break up with him after this,he doesn't deserve it."he was studying her.She stood up,walked to the door and before she entered the noisy party again,she turned to him once more.

"I'll ask Daichi-senpai for your number when I do break up with Koushi,until then,farewell pretty boy."she closed the door.

He smiled stupidly.He truly was a menace to society.

Haikyuu Cheer AU HC: Karasano

• Hinata- has *the* best facials. He feels the energy when he sets foot on the mat and just lights up. Definitely a flyer, but forgets to lock out. Is always the point for jump sections, hands down, no contest

• Noya- also a flyer. Always has crazy new stunt ideas at practice. Has to be reminded "that stunt isn't legal!". Basket tosses?? I think yes

• Tanaka- likes to try Noya's crazy stunt ideas. Is a powerful base but doesn't always remember counts, just dips and throws when it feels right. Loves tumbling

• Daichi- super supportive base, *never* let's anyone hit the floor. Likes to show off and one-man but he's lowkey about it. Normally does his tumbling passes with Ennoshita

• Suga- super graceful in the air. Always reminds the team to point their toes when they jump (looking at you Tanaka). Front and center for end dance

• Kageyama- back spot vibes, likes to be in control of a stunt. Competes with Hinata for his jump spot despite having the final tumbling pass. Hopeless with learning choreography but knows *all* of the counts for the routine by heart

• Yamaguchi- gets mental blocks when tumbling but has really sharp motions. Will lowkey go over choreography absentmindedly during class

• Tsukki- threatens to drop his flyer when they're getting on his nerves. Hates doing full outs. Has so much sass during the end dance section

• Asahi- super nervous before competitions, forgets choreography because he overthinks it. Strong af backspot, almost always throwing for baskets

• Ennoshita- has solid tumbling and clean jumps. Gets hit a lot while stunting but pushes through it. Likes to partner stunt with Noya

• Ukai- when this man says "last time" you know you're going to be doing it at least 5 more times. Listens to Tanaka and Noya's crazy ideas and tries to incorporate them. Can and will step in to help with pyramids

• Takeda- usually the saving grace and means it when he says "last time". Detail oriented and super picky about hitting everything on the right counts

• Yachi- gets super nervous when the team is trying new stunts. Takes every fall seriously. Hype queen during competitions, screams along to the comp music when she isn't yelling out the counts

• Kyoko- comes up with stretching routines for flyers. Scolds teammates for not being adequately warmed up. Tries to help others work through mental blocks

Different Ball Game (Karasuno Ver.)

Summary: Y/n used to be a manager for Teiko Junior High’s very own Generation of Miracles and has moved onto the world of volleyball.

Gender: I want to try and keep it gender neutral but my original idea was f!reader so just tell me if you spot any mistake.

Notes: It’s been over a year since I last posted but I’m back and hopefully staying.

Background Information:

You went to Teiko during your time in middle school and you had a lot of great times until they didn't. The team fell apart in a span of weeks and you could only witness it from the sidelines because nothing you said seemed to matter to them.

The only ones you keep in contact with is Kuroko and Momoi with your new phone number because they don’t want the Miracles to come and search for you after they realized their problems

You’re actually pretty calm and quiet though you can get loud when necessary.

Your parents/guardians also had been waiting to accept a job in Miyagi so it was the perfect timing. You left without many knowing and entered Karasuno as your new school which you hoped would be calmer than what Teiko had been.

NOW KARASUNO:

You joined the volleyball club as a manager because why not? You certainly weren’t running back to basketball anytime soon and volleyball was also a court sport so the environment might be similar, right?

The team was very nice to you when you joined and no you didn’t tell them that you were Teiko’s manager, they could figure it out on their own. It’s not like they couldn’t look up your name and find out that Y/n L/n has a few articles on them for being a famous manager.

Tanaka flirted with you at first but he quickly became protective of you and Kiyoko lives in slight fear because you are the best wingman/woman she has ever met and some of the tricks might work.

The other second years like you as well, they’re all pretty calm so you had respect for them. Nishinoya was chaotic as hell around you but that’s his personality so you didn’t question it and you found him kind of funny.

The third years are parents with Asahi being the shy teddy bear that makes you want to melt at times. Asahi reminds you of Murasakibara at times because of his behavior change off and on the court but they’re distinctly different so you leave it alone.

Suga is now your new mother, sorry but it’s a fact. Daichi is your dad and you have called him that, he gave you a hug.

Now, the first years. How to explain your relationship with the first years? Chaotic to say the absolute least. Tsukishima is a little rude to you at first, he probably made fun of your height, and you couldn’t understand why he and Yamaguchi were friends but you accepted it.

Hinata and Kageyama were dumb, you could fully see that but they were also genius in the art of volleyball. You made a fair trade that they properly teach you the sport and you could help them to the best of your abilities in school.

Now, realistically the search for a new manager wouldn’t happen as Karasuno is used to only having one manager at a time but with Y/n’s expertise you became Ukai’s assistant coach but the title isn’t official since you won’t get paid. Kiyoko used this as an excuse to execute her backup plan of getting another manager.

Yachi was really nervous and you found her cute and you were glad to help teach her the ropes because you never got to in the past. Momoi took care of the incoming managers to distract herself from the chaos going on so that’s all I can say about that.

THEY FIND OUT:

They found out because you were gone for two days because you had to go back to Tokyo for an interview on what each Miracle was doing about a year later and where you were going. Luckily you didn’t run into any of the Miracles while you were in Tokyo so you didn’t have a breakdown.

About a week later the interviews were published in Sports Weekly which Ukai, Kageyama, and Nishinoya typically read. You hadn’t arrived in the gym but everyone else was. Cue Nishinoya asking if anyone has seen or read the article with both Kageyama and Ukai confirming they had while the rest of the team was lost on the matter.

Kageyama and Nishinoya passed around the two magazines while the others read over it with shock. Their manager/assistant coach had been the manager of the legendary Generation of Miracles and they never told anyone? Reading your part of the interview was rather interesting.

Question: What school do you go to now?

Answer: I attend Karasuno High School In Miyagi

Question: Are you still involved in basketball.

Answer: No, I actually couldn’t force myself to join the basketball team as a manager due to personal reasons but I do currently manage the most chaotic volleyball players I know.

Question: How do you think the other Generation of Miracles have improved?

Answer: Leaps and bounds. They were always talented prodigies, with each of them attending different schools they will now be fighting their way to the Winter Cup. That in its self will be something to watch.

Needless to say the interview was longer than that but it still surprised them a great deal because that was an interesting find. None of them would have expected it but none of them should be as surprised as they were. You were an expert for a reason and now they finally understood why.

When you arrived they surrounded you with questions which was kind of overwhelming but Ukai got them to calm down for a small bit as well as back up from you.

You explained that yes it was true that you were one of Teiko’s manager’s and yes you knew the Generation of Miracles. When you explained the fall out and the events of your third year they were all rather pissed off. Not at you, never at you.

They agreed to protect you from the group of basketball prodigies that day and were absolutely stunned when you wanted to go and see a few of them play but they went with you anyway.

On the final for the Winter Cup, you were there like the rest of the fallen Miracles. When they turned on Akashi you just had to join in which was a shock because none of them have seen you since you disappeared like a year ago?

“KUROKO-KUN YOU BETTER BEAT AKASHI-SAN’S ASS OR I SWEAR I’LL FIND AWAY TO MAKE YOUR TRAINING REGIMENT WORSE YOU PHANTOM SHIT!”

One of the few times anyone has seen you like that, especially against Akashi of all people. You were yelling and you not only threatened someone but you cursed at someone, impressive.

You were so happy when Seirin won the game, you were jumping up and down as you cheered for the win, because you could see it as you looked at the Miracles. They may of changed but your boys were back. Of course you would never leave Karasuno after they brought such a chaos into your life than you thought possible.

When Karasuno came in for Spring Nationals you were excited and you weren’t expecting the Miracles to be cheering in the crowd for your team but you were more than happy with the outcome.
