One of the hallmarks of Family Scolopacidae (which includes the previously-covered Wood████) is a keen interest in education. Gathering into vast multi-genus flocks, these scholastic shorebirds are willing to travel thousands of miles to attend various scientific conferences. Above, a mixed group of Marbled Godwits and Willets pay keen attention to a presentation on the convergent evolution of tail weaponry amongst mammals, turtles, and ornithischian dinosaurs.

Ponderings
Life has finally calmed down a bit. Still not quite enough with finals coming up very shortly. However, seeing as I have no events to run, or papers to write anymore, I just wanted to take some time to reflect upon the quick month that was March.
I thought it took too long for March to arrive, but now that I look back, I am wondering where my month went. This month was jammed packed with exams, assignments, events and footy-woes.
This month started with RCMA's Symposium, our second last event for all the marketing students. A hectic day filled with amazing guest speakers and eager students wanting to learn more about incredible marketing opportunities that many firms could offer. After, there was also a NBA Case Competition, where NBA Canada came to evaluate some of the brightest minds in marketing as they look to redesign the NBA Canada brand. Also a couple day of hectic-ness, but many incredible ideas from students. I hope that NBA appreciates the students' efforts and their creativity, which can be limited. To wrap up the month, our Women in Business group had our year end Women in Leadership Conference where we saw over sixty guest speakers and panelists and over 150 students at the Four Seasons Toronto networking and learning about being a women in the business world. There were so many different industries that we don't normally connect with there opening even more doors for the wonderful ladies at Rotman Commerce. To close out the month, thirty lucky students have the chance to go for a firm visit at one of the world's most renowned advertising firm BBDO. I am looking forwards to that!
There was also a stats exam, and microeconomics project paper and well as a law paper all stuck in between. It has just been such a hectic month, it is hard to comprehend that it is a couple days away from April, and our time here at university is coming to a break. This month has just been filled to the max!
I am looking forwards to some downtime and quiet time so I am able to study in peace to hopefully end the year on a high note!
