This is Hydrangea “Blackbill” Corwva, doctor, vampire, lord, and most importantly protagonist
So bird boi here has a kinda werebat form but with feathers cuz his ancestor is literally a Godess of death that’s a Corvid
Scene idea for my House of Corvidae comic. I don’t really like the outfit that Hydrangea is in here but I do like the background wallpaper that took me a good several house I think.
Adam & Marigold, similar in species, one created through science the other via ritual!
Marigold has two last names, “Cervidae” from his bio parent and “Crowva” from his adopted dad.
This version of “Adam” is named Rose, a creation of Oak Jayvid as a “proof of concept” for his “partner” to “create life.” Adam here was basically a first test, and Oak’s “partner” didn’t like how stitched together he looked.
Oak tried to create the perfect man, neglecting his niece and wife to create life. Adam was kept in the basement until his niece Thistle found him and they formed a friendship. Thistle teaching him how to speak and write and Oak letting him out so they can watch each other. Adam as a bodyguard and caretaker, and Thistle as a teacher and companion.
Convo between Thistle and Oak:
“So how are… you doing”
“Good”
“And Hyacinth?”
“…”
“And Hyacinth? Sigh… Haven’t you been watching her? You know? Girl code-or sisterhood?”
“She’s dead uncle Oak, she’s been dead for 3 months now?! Haven’t you noticed, or have you been to busy working on your ‘perfection project?”
“…”
Anyway that just came to me working out the dynamic and stuff. Thistle becomes betrothed to Marigold and Adam is really supportive for them.

His Rider of Plague form is the worse case scenario for Hydrangea. Based on the 4 horseman of the apocalypse.
His nose, finger, and toe markings is a birth defect as his mother had the Ash plague when she had him. They both survived with her scars fading but his are permanent and the disease lays dormant inside of him.
As the Rider of Plague the Ash Plague inside him mutated in this form of his, into the Scorching plague. His touch turns someone to ash burning their body.
He tends to not take care of himself mostly buy not eating as much as he should. He use to drink alcohol before he got immune to it. He drinks vinegar to not be as hungry.

I call their species stitched, he’s a sweet baby. His arm stitches are from tearing his own skin, I forgot to show his prominent chest scars that he sewed up himself.

I worked with her hairstyle and made her purple more pinkish. As well as helping the outfits b/c I’m not use to princess outfits and stuff like that.
Her ties with Lady Raven, the goddess of prophecies and death. Shattered parts of a being dealing with her identities of Goddess vs Remeberence, Priestess vs Princess, & Poet vs Narrator.
The Goddess, the potential to godhood and the power that comes with it. Yet she knows the truth of such power and godhood such omnipotence, the price of personhood. She wishes to be a person.
The Remembrance, a shard of that godhood yet holds the omniscience of it. Yet knowing all, for gods like that means there is no way of acting. No way of acting due to her knowledge.
The Priestess and Princess are outward labels and facades. One due to her religious duties and other of her privilege and birth. One she loves and accepts the other she shuns and feels bad for. She knows how horrible her family is with the poison and familicide for the throne. Her divinity feels I deserved feeling she needs to pay for the monstrous acts of Rhea family and ancestors. The Priestess as a facade is her repentance. Serving her community spiritually and through community service. Most don’t know her face but they do know her wing ears. Her soft angelic voice. Her calming and nurturing nature and wisdom.
For this character I use different names and pronouns for their different stages and parts of themself.
Bittersweet is anonymous merely a person, using they/them pronouns as when Hydrnagea first used those pronouns Bittersweet didn’t correct them so everyone else followed suit.
Nightshade is the name of a poison and this is the name he uses as an assassin and hunter. He is solitary and dangerous. A lone wolf in their work and only really happy in between commissions as he usually hunts and live off the land. He doesn’t care much for people and humans feeling uncomfortable in groups as his work isolates him from others (it feels so weirdly typing he/him for him as I usually use they/she for him)
Wolfsbane is the name after she embraces and finds herself. As a werewolf I specifically has her be a dream dancer meaning when she slept her soul would manifest in the world as a wolf. Specifically a she would and she never knew why but she always knew it felt right. Later once she accepted herself she was able to transform while awake. Her hairstyle is suppose to mimic wolf ears.
