Random thought I had before falling asleep the other night: all the most powerful beings in the Gravity Falls universe are really just… small children.
Time Baby, most obviously, is a literal baby who chews on his own toes and needs to be bottle fed despite his reality-bending power to grant Time Wishes — and then there’s Bill, who at times resembles a teenager, but at other moments, a spoiled and petulant toddler. He loves to party, but when he doesn’t get his way? It’s tantrum time.
And last but not least, we’ve got the Axolotl — arguably more mature than the other two, not to mention much more benevolent — but it’s also based off an animal that often doesn’t undergo metamorphosis, meaning that it remains in its larval (childlike) for its whole life.
I don’t know where I’m really going with this, I guess I just think it’s funny that all these super ancient, super powerful entities also have characteristics of literal babies.
