Since Nadal is retiring in a month, I’m actually curious to see if Roger Federer will be at the Davis Cup for his last match or tournament, the same way he was at Federer’s last match. Any theories?

In my head, Andy is just out having dinner with Roger somewhere (making sure Roger pays this time, after Laver Cup) and not having any time for his mum's drama. He will understand Emma's injury concerns.
I love Novandy, and it does make the most sense, but I will always have a soft spot for Murrderer. It's the whole older/younger enemies to lovers thing. (Roger definitely hated Andy to begin with.)
Anyway, I desperately need people to start writing more Andy Murray fic (preferably smutty) to cheer us all up after his retirement. (I might consider it at some point, if I ever finish my current WIP.)
