I know your only looking for Dabi thirst and stuff but I have a genuine question, if dabi/hawks/reader were in a poly but reader had an abusive family, how do you think they'd handle it?

You're all good, I'm fine with questions of any kind, related to Dabi or not. It's just thirst and stuff that I'm only writing for Dabi rn~

To answer your question though, I think it depends. Dabi and Hawks both had shifty parents so that's something they can sympathize with you on. Now, Dabi is a villian and I see Dabi as the type of bf to kill anyone who hurts you. You're one of the few he cares about, if he trusts you enough to be with you, he'd do anything for you. Hawks on the other hand is a hero, so he would try to take the more legal, justice route. He'd want to put them in jail, keep you safe... but Dabi doesn't care about justice or heros.

So, Dabi and Hawks would come to a standstill on that, whether to kill them or put them in prison. If you don't want them to die or get severly burned, you'll have to let Dabi know that. He'd be a little frustrated that you don't want him too, not with you though, he just wants to keep you safe. They would definitely keep you away from them, Hawks will move you in with him or them, depending if Dabi lives there. If you can't take your stuff, don't worry cause Hawks will buy you all of it plus more. But if there are things that hold sentimental value, Dabi would have no problem sneaking in to get it for you.
