Psalms 4:5 NIV [ Give the right sacrifices to the Lord, and put your trust in Him! ]
Psalms 4-11
Upon reading the book of Psalms, the Lord tells me so many messages; about sacrifices, love, assurance, and such. Indeed He has an unfailing love. And whenever we pray and ask, He listens. Psalms 5:8, "Lord, show me your right way of living and make it easy for me to follow. People are looking for my weaknesses, so show me how you want me to live." Psalms 5:11-12, "But let those who trust in You be happy forever. Protect and strengthen those who love Your name. Lord, when You bless good people, You surround them with Your love, like a large shield that protects them." Haaay, Lord, to have such a love like Yours. Psalms 6 made me remember all the times I cried. God reassured me in this chapter that He has heard my cries and understands why I have been and continue to feel sorrow. You never failed, God, not even once. Thank You for Your love, Oh Lord. :( "I praise the Lord because He is good. I praise the name of the Lord most high." Psalms 7:17. Forever will I praise you, Father! Another form of love from God is Psalms 8:4-6, "And I wonder, "Why are people so important to You? Why do you even think about them? Why do You care so much about humans? Why do You even notice them? But You made them almost like gods and crowned them with glory and honor." I'm uncertain what we did to earn your enormous affection for us, Lord.
Psalms 9:10, "Lord, those who know Your name come to You for protection. And when they come, You do not leave them without help." Psalms 9:18, "It may seem that those who are poor and needy have been forgotten, but God will not forget them. He will not leave them without hope." You feed us with Your care and assurance, Lord; Your provisions are never-ending, just like the love that You have for us. With that, we want to bring back all the honor to You. "I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart. I will tell about the wonderful things You have done. You make me happy, so I will rejoice in You. God most high, I praise Your name." Psalms 9:1-2
Psalms 11:7, "The Lord always does what is right, and He loves seeing people do right. Those who live good lives will be with Him."

1 Thessalonians 5
2 Thessalonians 1-2
The words safe and at peace brings so much comfort to hear. God chose us to live in the light and not in darkness, it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:8, we should wear faith and love to protect us; and the hope of salvation should be our helmet, for we belong to day and not night. As we value our churchmates who care for us, we should encourage others to help them grow a strong faith. Patience is something that we need for us to be able to help, and we need to believe that there is nothing as a hearthstone for Jesus. Verses 16-19, touched my heart. Whatever struggles we are facing, it is very important to stand firm and trust Him. Remaining faithful with all we do is a way to not let the burning fire lose. 1 Thessalonians 5 also reminded me to keep what is good and stay away from everything that is evil.
2 Thessalonians 1:4 made my heart melt. With all the things that could hinder us, we have to take courage in fighting for His kingdom and for His glory. After all, it's the heart that God sees. It is the heart that He honors; not the things we are doing that other people notices. We must always be reminded to be worthy of His kingdom. May the goodness of the Lord be upon us in everything that we do more and more. 2 Thessalonians 1:12, Then the name of the Lord Jesus will be honored because of you, and you will be honored because of Him. This can happen only by the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
We are chosen. How wonderful it is to know that we are chosen? Though evil things will happen, He already chose us for Salvation. In bringing back all the favor, we should honor the grace that God has given to us. Continue sharing His greatness and glory. Never lose the faith that we have in our lifestyle, for we are saved by this.
These verses left me in awe and have nothing anymore to say. "We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father will comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say. God loved us and gave us through his grace a wonderful hope and comfort that has no one." 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

Through Him and for Him
Colossians 1-4
Prayer must come first before reading the word. I asked God to cleanse my heart, soul, mind, and ears for me to be able to clearly receive the message He desires to tell me. Upon reading Colossians, the prayer was the same. Just how heart-melting it is to know that God listens. Colossians 1:9-14 touched the depth of me. With all the things happening around me, all the mess I worry about, and all the works I want to do excellence with, never a single moment did God let me have a thought to give up. "To do this, I work and struggle using the great strength that God gives me. That strength is working in my life." Colossians 1:29.
Continue to Follow Christ Jesus, Colossians 2:6-7. "And because you belong to Christ you are complete, having everything you need. Christ is ruler over every power and authority." Colossians 2:10. Though we are described as sinful, the forgiving God already frees us. We must not let the noise of the world and earthly influence consume us. And allow the commands and teachings of the Lord to be upon us.
We can never escape from how the world revolves now, but we can let everyone see in ours how the word of God works. Remember that in everything we do, it must please the Lord. Colossians 3:5. Colossians 3:8. We must always aim to become more and more like Him. Colossians 3:15-17.
Colossians 4:2. Colossians 4:5-6. I pray that we continue to share the word of God because we are able and chosen. Let us all practice to be more like Him, grow our faith, and be spiritually mature. We must do all the special works He is asking us to do in honor of Him, through Him, with Him, and for Him.

Glorious Crown
1 Peter 5
How hard is it for us to yield and acknowledge that we are unable to achieve everything ourselves? I understand how difficult it is to admit our vulnerability. Never allow yourself to get consumed by worries because you have a God who is extending out His hands to you; the Lord says, "Come to Me."
Everything will fall into place when we humbly accomplish all that delights the Lord. He will certainly provide you with grace. We must humble ourselves over the elders' authority; for it should be respected and accepted. May we be a good example of Christ's humility by not worrying about what might happen or what advantages we might gain in the end. We will suffer while we restore all glory to Him. He is a rewarding God who gives more than we anticipate, more than we believe we deserve, and more than we could ever imagine. Instead of viewing that as an obligation, let's consider it a way of bringing back everything He has done. We must continue to stand strong in our faith. Putting one's faith to the test involves going through hardships. We are said to be in God's care. He is there for us constantly. We need to consistently remind ourselves of it.
Praying that we will not govern but rather set a positive example for others. So that everyone might continue to live in God's presence, may we be obedient enough to take care of them. Remind ourselves to keep our eyes on the Lord and our feet firmly set on the ground. He will then raise us in a way that is beyond our wildest dreams.

Something Beautiful
Psalms 56
What a beautiful day to wake up and pray… Not because I had a productive day yesterday, which made me pleased, but rather because, for once, it felt good to fall asleep while doing the scheduled schoolwork that I planned to stay up all night on. As I realized I was unable to complete the work I was supposed to do, an entirely different mindset suddenly arose and shocked me. In cries, voices are loudly saying, I'm not capable of surpassing it, I'm not gifted enough to do it, and more pitying things about me. This morning, it surprised me in a way that I didn't act before. The voice I heard stated, "Do not be afraid; it is I." And that was God. Matthew 14:27.
In response, I said, "I put my trust in You, Lord. Let Your will be my will." I know that it was He who put me to sleep; it was He who put me to rest because I trusted in Him that He would do the rest. In prayer, I wept and openly acknowledged to God that I hadn't been working as hard as I should have been yesterday. I asked for His will, and in sleep is where he led me. All my life, nothing has scared me more than failing my subjects, failing my exams, and failing all about school. Poor grades are equal to failure. Come to think of it, when we disappoint ourselves and others, does the Lord really think of us as failures? No, love. There is no such thing as that with God. This is the realization that put me wondering: What does trust really mean? How deep does it go? And out of a sincere heart in praying earlier, I said, "Lord, You have my complete trust. Let Your will rule over mine. If failing, receiving poor grades, or producing mediocre work is what your will dictates, then so be it. For I know that You are my God and won't let me sit around crying. Surely You have kept an account of all my tears."
May each of us possess a heart that is intentional in praying and willing to trust the Lord. I pray that we will allow God to work in our lives and direct us to carry out His plan for us. When it seems like there is no way out of the darkness, keep in mind that He will be the light that leads the way and guides us through. Despite the fact that it might require sacrificing everything, have faith in Him, for He will turn our tears into something beautiful.
Good morning! God bless us all!
The Door To More
Psalms 28:1-2
2 Kings 4:8-17
[ Sunday Service - 9:30 AM - Dr. Tony Stewart ]
Allow the Lord to close the doors you once thought were open to you, and be ready for the one He will open to take you beyond. Have faith in the power that will lift you from glory to glory, for the Lord we worship is a God of promises. Till the appointed time, hold upon the heart that will always respond "yes" and "amen."

God Like
Ephesians 4
[ VOTD - Ephesians 4:32 ]
I'm trying to figure out what this chapter aims to convey, and God leads me to conclude that it simply means "live like God." We must be representatives of Christ's magnificence and goodness as His disciples, which is why I chose the phrase "God-like." And for us to be able to achieve this, our words must be filled with kindness and love. God pardoned our transgressions so that we could move forward and make progress toward a better today and tomorrow. Our current-day existence leads us in the direction of the future He has prepared for us; thus, He wants us to let go of the past we had and dwell only on the present. We must become more steadfast in our love, spiritually mature, and sanctified in Christ as we strive toward a triumphant and marvelous tomorrow.

Psalms 143 - 148

The Lord listens. His greatness alone is enough for us to believe in Him. I am very proud to say that the Lord I praise is the God who is kind, loving, and has all the beautiful attributes we can name. In every one of His words, more and more, I am assured that He loves me, cares for me, hears me, and accepts me. He is the only one deserving of my highest praise.

devotion not as worship. but as recognition. as "i want to stand with you, and beside you." as learning. as understanding. as "i want to know you." as "i am making the choice to get to know you." as persistence. as care. as "you are knowable." as "you are lovable." devotion not as idolatry. but devotion as mortality. as a reflection. "you and i, together. equals. partners." devotion as accompaniment. devotion as humanity.

Blessed Hekáte, accept our offerings we give freely in devotion to You.
