“i missed you” kisses: excited and frantic. being picked up and twirled around while kissing them, hands around their neck, their hands around your waist, smiling into the kiss
“i’ll see you soon!” kisses: playful bickering, hurried goodbyes ‘forgetting something?’ ‘oh right’ and a quick peck on the cheek, rolling eyes but still smiling
“i never thought id see you again” kisses: wiping the tears of your cheek with their thumb, and leaning in because of it. brushing lips and a soft feeling, familar and numb, lips fitting together like pieces of a puzzle
last kisses: whispering ‘you’re going to be okay’ while deep down they know they’re not, holding their body in your arms, their blood rubbing off on your body, weak smiles and a breathy ‘can i get a last kiss?’ ‘don’t say that, it won’t be the last one’ and kissing their forehead
high kisses: staring at their lips, maybe using a thumb to move excruciatingly slowly over their bottom lip, passionate and dizzying, forgetting that the world exists for a moment. the taste of alcohol or cigarettes. pulling away and staring and their eyes for what seems like eternity
“are we still friends?” kisses: heartbeat getting faster with every passing second, their hands on your waist, one coming up to your jaw, whispering your name softly, before just going for it. coming absolutely undone as your hand reaches to tug on their hair
(sweet) after sex kisses: soft and light, maybe a peck on the forehead or cheek, asking if you’re okay and making lazy circles on your skin, limbs entangled and giving them that smile with wide eyes
(??) after sex kisses: pulling apart, kissing them somewhere on their arm, kissing their collarbone, wrapping their body in a white sheet while you wear their shirt, moving toward the balcony and asking if you want a cigarette, sharing the smoke. confortable silence
“we really shouldn’t be doing this” kisses: fisting their shirt into your hand, pushing them against a wall, admiring the sounds they’re making, moving down to their neck while they whisper the words, tipping their chin up, ‘but do you want to?’ a breathless but definite ‘yes.’

“i need you now” kisses: them fisting your shirt into their palms, your hands under their shirt, cold fingertips against their skin, and panting, moving down from their lips to their neck, soft moans that turn louder, shirts being pulled off haphazardly
“come back to bed” kisses: tugging on their hand when they get up, pulling them in, them slowly waking toward you and lean in, a soft peck on their jaw while you whisper the words
“are you sure about this?” kisses: pulling away from the kiss, their hair is in a mess and cheeks are red, lips slightly parted and longing eyes, waiting for what’s going to happen next, god they look so pretty
