Quick step by step originally asked by @floatingmegane-san and @suke1234.( thanks for asking! )
i doesn’t really explain anythin’ but that’s how i do it !
I added two quick color palettes and an exemple (a kind of honey bear made for school )

a super quick tutorial on how I make wooden board textures. (sorry for the handwriting)
I like making the textures myself, so I can mess with them and embed them easily
here are some examples:

Convert white to transparent on scanned images
1) Select the layer with the scanned image
2) Menu > Select > Create Selection from Layer / Brightness
3) Create a new layer
4) Select black color (or any color you want for the new line)
5) Menu > Layer > Fill
6) Hide or delete the original layer
Tip: Active “Protect Alpha” to paint the line.

A friend wanted to know how to do grass, whipped this up super quick, decided to turn it into a tutorial!
If you would like to request a personal little tutorial for yourself, please consider taking a look at my Patreon!

A friend asked how I do this thing, so I decided to make a tutorial for it! FYI, this is Photoshop CS5. Hope it helps in some way! If there’s anything that completely confuses you, don’t hesitate to ask me. :)
Here is a fullsize version. (This font’s exclamation point looks too much like an “L,” so I apologize for sounding too excited in my tutorial.)
Fun shiny bubble letters
Use the fringe effect and a large round pen tool

Use the erase tool and make little shine spots^

Use airbrush to blend and add a extra shiny effects

For extra stuff, you can use preserve opacity to make a fun gradient, use binary for tiny, hard sparkles, and use a white pen to make the letters overlay, etc!
i want to eat it now
For any other artists following me
I just found this website that has lots of free, transparent textures available to download. Useful for drawing clothes and things, or just to make a wallpaper or something ^-^
sometimes I forget that rulers work with tablets and I get really frustrated with my inability to freehand straight lines

Click me for the brushes used in the tutorial A few peeps were wondering how I drew attacks in my nuzlocke comic, so I made a quick/kinda sloppy tutorial about it! Tbh it’s just me spamming luminosity and overlay layers haha ;yyy Hope this somewhat helps!
