It was my friend's birthday, so I drew our Curse of Strahd party celebrating her character's birthday!
"We've both done bad things, but... We can get over them, together."
Riel knows Cornelius' biggest weakness is simply... him. Afterall, she waited 15 years for him so they could get married.
Little did Cornelius know, he never changed after the incident and his only goals are her money and status, he loves her, but he sure has one fucked up way of showing it. That's why she tries so hard to kill him because he's started going after her party now, but she's afraid to permanently get rid of him.
He said he loved her, he married her, and he's the only good thing in her childhood, getting rid of him would mean she'd have to face the fact that she needs to kill her childhood self because it never was meant to exist in the first place.
"I've never done anything right, Nels. You of all people know that."
Cornelius shrugged and chuckled, "You're wrong about that," she pulls out a familiar book to Riel, her childhood diary and slides it over to him. He skims the pages where she wrote all about how much she loved him, admired him and enjoyed his company.
She stands up and sighs, "Well I'm not going to kill you Riel," Beginning to walk away, "I guess this is our last farewell, 'cause I'm just going to walk out."
"That's probably the best decision," he pauses "Goodbye Nels..." and tosses the diary to where she stood. Cornelius stares at Riel, both giving each other a similar look, they knew all too well what it meant.
"I love you"
"Ah.. Thanks.. R." Both using their favourite childhood nicknames for one another, Cornelius picked up the diary and turned around once more, before opening the church doors to leave, she glances back at Riel, who was weak and bleeding out
just put him out of his misery, he wants it that way, a dying mans wish...
A sudden guiding bolt impulsively leaves her hand, aiming at the man she once called her husband.

Redesigned an old character for a campaign my friend wants to run after our other games are over ( 1 homebrew, 1 curse of strahd, 1 vtm , and maybe 1 ravenloft vv; )

I wanted to practice more of a portait-y style , so I did my girlfriend's tiefling warlock Rose :}

Hearing the news of her father's death was the cherry on her fucked up sundae, but a shit ton of whip cream was sprayed over it when she had to fill his position in war as a combat medic when she was only a veterinarian.
She pulled out a comforting piece of cloth from her bag. Her dad's arm band from the Defense. Delphire looked out from the dock at the sinking empty ships, clutching the tattered fabric in her hand tightly. She softly cried before sighing, she felt unlucky to be lucky.
Heading to a festival out of town, Delphire partied and enjoyed the happy atmosphere contrasting her hometown. All good things must come to end though because at the end of the night the crowd gathered in the plaza, getting ready to watch some grandiose lightshow in the sky.
All the sudden, the sky turned dark and red, a masked figure, one that Delphire bumped into at the start of the festival, held his hand up to the sky, fireballs hailed down from above, crushing buildings and civilians left and right, the town church being the only shelter available.
They all fled, using her combat medic experience, Delphire tended to the wounded in a panic, but before being able to save anyone, soon the church collapsed too. Everyone around her was dead when she awoke, but she could hear a faint weeping from the plaza. Getting up from the rubble, she called out for help, no response was heard. She followed the crying to meet face to face with the one she worshipped, Tael. Tael pulled her into a warm embrace, informing Del that this was the end of the world and that Delphire got lucky, she was the only survivor, and thus it was her job to reverse time and prevent this from happening...
sorry for my prolonged absence, i have been busy with AF and animation wips. ^^;

my friend sent me this song with the simple message of "you know who this applies to." and.. i did. so i cried wholesome tears while drawing this.
the little baby, her name is Lumia!
She is the child of Ismark and Cornelius (she isn't .. alive yet. She exists in the post-game—If Cornelius Survives..—but I wanted to design her beforehand)
edit: she's supposed to have really big golden freckles like cornelius, kinda to symbolize stars.. but also because all of Cornelius' kids have her golden freckles.
Rose got tired of Cornelius being too scared to officially break up with her.

(also yeah, like all iconic lesbians, rose and cornelius had the moon/sun motifs because they both worship moon/sun gods.)
