When it comes to creators interacting with the fan base, Iām pretty mixed on it. It really depends on the creator. Personally, it feels like Pastra is a really chill person and luckily this fandom is pretty low key, so I donāt think there will be much of a problem. Just try to stay chill and be aware of when Pastra is uncomfortable with something. In fact, Iāve had an idea for my AU (Twins AU for those who donāt know), but Iām probably gonna scrap it for Pastraās sake. Just be mindful and respectful, Capeesh ?ļæ¼

When It Comes To Creators and Fandoms
I recently saw some discussion in the DOAI community about the possibility of Pastra interacting with the community and I figured I should share my thoughts on it.
This conversation is more or so targeted at all fandoms, not just the DOAI community.
When it comes to creators interacting with fandoms, it is a very complicated issue. Usually one of two things happens. They get ātoo personalā with fans or they could easily get overwhelmed and ignored by toxic fans that donāt care about their boundaries (which is the one Iām more worried about with Pastra.)
However, this doesnāt mean that peace between the creator and fandom isnāt possible. For example, The Amazing Digital Circus fandom is actually pretty respectful towards Gooseworx. The only major issue she has to deal with is the content farms. (As we know, content farms are NOT fans!)
So, I feel like as long as we are respectful of the boundaries of the creator, we can make it a comfortable environment for them. I do have a lot more respect for creators who interact with fandoms (mostly bc it shows that they appreciate their fans), but I feel like we as fans need to show respect for their (understandable) boundaries when they mention them and donāt blow it out of the water.
In the end, I really donāt think the DOAI community will have a problem with this because so far, you all have been super chill and Pastra has an advantage since they make other content than just DOAI. If they do decide to interact with the fandom, Iām cool with it. If they donāt, Iām cool with it. Just please be respectful to them when they do. They are, just like us, a human being in the end. I have said my piece.
Oh myā¦Iām so sorry. I probably shouldnāt make anymore content in regard to the Twins AU. I know that the Pastra I wrote in the fics is slightly different from the creator, mainly just their backstory and relationships to the characters, but their personality was very much similar.
Message From The Sitcom Au Discord Mods: In Regards to Having Pastra in Aus
Hello, I know recently a lot of us have been excited about our aus, which is a wonderful thing, and have been including pastra in them (I do not take innocence in this), but after recent dissaproval from the Pastra mods, we have decided it would be best to stop making aus with Pastra. In the eyes of the fandom, the personalitly and real person are very much the same, and turning a real person into a character without consent can have dangerous consequences. It's still wonderful we are being creative, but Pastra is a real person. There's no one person to blame, a lot of us just got to excited and accidentally went too far. Let's all stop aus involving Pastra the creator, or at least shelf them until they can be reworked to not have real people."
I canāt imagine that going well for them. Clyde would be just as clueless as Alex is.
Quick question about your Veldigun Alex, How do they preen their wings?ļæ¼
huh, never really thought about it. I assumed it was something they had to learn on the fly because you donāt really learn that anywhere because people donāt have wings.
