There was one of those hyperspecific polls that had an option like “your grandfather told you war stories that he never told anyone else” and now I feel like I have to tell the story about how a spider saved my grandpa’s life in WWII and how my family doesn’t kill spiders because we owe our existence to that One Single Spider

A few weeks ago, I noticed there was a spider that kept building its web from my side mirror to just below where my window is and I kept trying to shoo it away because I didn’t want it to get hurt

But it never seemed to get the memo

But today—

I learned why

Apparently, all the pugs at my work and at the park I run it I really dumb and like to swarm car windows so if you’re a little spider a side mirror is prime real estate
