you had just moved to a new neighborhood, somewhere far away from your old living situation. you had yet to make any friends so when a neighbor invited you over to his house to hang out you immediately said yes.

you had met him briefly and you always heard him playing basketball in his driveway with friends. thats what he was doing right now, you were about to go over there to sit with them. you headed out the front door, crossing your driveway and into his.

"oh hey, coop, this is the girl i was telling you about" he said as he pointed to you. you gave a small smile and wave to the guy standing on the side.

coop said hello, telling you how nice it is to meet you, holding on to your hand for a second too long. you went and sat down in a chair on the side of the driveway. coop and doug stopped playing, now talking to you and each other.

"hey uh- do you smoke?" doug asked you, pulling a small bag of weed out of his jean pocket. before you could answer your other neighbor, coop, got a phone call and excused himself. you turned back to doug nodding and silently asking him to pass you the bag and papers he had in his pocket.

you took the loose pre-grinded weed and put it on the paper between you index and thumb. you rolled to blunt before bringing it to your lips and licking the paper. you could feel doug staring at you and his breath had become slightly ragged. you finished and turned you head to him, he immediately looked away trying not to get caught. you smiled to yourself before passing the joint to doug.

he looked at you like you were a god, gracing him with your presence. he brought the bud to his lips, also pulling out a lighter and lighting it. he took a puff before passing it to you, then turning his head and exhaling. you put the blunt up to your lips and drew in smoke. he just stared at you the whole time, just entrapped in your beauty.

before you could blow out the smoke he spoke up. "wait, shotgun?" you playfully rolled your eyes. as you leaned in you put your hand on his cheek, exhaling the smoke. as you backed up you looked into his eyes, he sat forward connecting his lips to yours. he wrapped his lips around your bottom lip, slightly sucking.

you ran your hand through his curls, pulling him even closer. he then snuck his tounge into your mouth, massaging your tongue with his. you could feel his scattered breath against your face, you pulled away.

"uh- would you like to go out with me sometime?" he asked, warily. "yea id like that." you said still inches from his face just as you said that coop returned and doug jumped up, running to his friend.

" DUDE, she said yes!" doug said obviously happy. "holy shit, nice bro!" coop said. you just laughed to yourself, watching them made you smile. you could tell you were going to enjoy living here.
