one thing i wish the ever after high show had done was give us extended family content. like yes, we have the charming siblings and the o’hair twins, but i want to see the cousins and shit. like, acknowledge the fact that rosabella and briar are related, cerise and sparrow (actually, now that i’ve typed that out, is that even true or just coincidence?), a bunch of the wonderlandians (probably).

Angsty lyrics about daring’s childhood being the head of the household not being able to protect his younger siblings from the pressure. Protecting darling and dexter from being disappointments and punished for it. Sigh okay enjoy
Eah books: we have all gone through immense psychological and emotional trauma throughout our lives because of the shitty society we live in but we're on our way to healing but that's even harder because the people we were supposed to trust won't let us so that they can remain in power. We have to do everything we can to break the cycles of abuse
eah episodes: guys, let's have a parade in the cafeteria, it'll be so fun, just don't tell the headmaster grimm lol
eah movies: today apple and raven faced the cosmic terror and things beyond human comprehension while the headmaster or their parents is an asshole
Girlie was also devastated when said goth girl wouldn't bully, belittle, degrade, or just in general be mean or pushy to her.

i think apple being devasted that a goth girl wouldn't poison her should've been the first sign she was gay
because it's one thing to just be in love with your roommate/best friend but imagine if one of you was destined to kill the other but she is actually totally into it and in fact, want you to kill her, she wants you to kill her so so bad but you absolutely refuse and go against fate itself to not kill her and she pounds and your chest with tears in her eyes crying "why do you have to love me? why can't you just let this play out how it's supposed to?" and as many times as you try to explain it she'll never understand all she can do is draw closer to you and force her way into your orbit until you collide with one another and destroy each other in a world killing/world making supernova
i've spoken before on raven and darling and how they're such good foils to each other, but i really, really just want to emphasize this scene right here because it makes me LOSE it.
(also please don't mind maddie and her expressions)
i personally love the way darling looks at raven in the first panel, because you can see her confusion there. everyone knows that apple and raven are best friends forever despite all their differences, and everyone knows just how much apple and raven care for each other, and how they would do anything for each other.
but i really love how this is framed because you can see darling looking at the way raven looks at apple; with so much longing, with so much sorrow, so much hurt, and so much love, and you can just see it click for her in the next panel.
the way she's questioning it at first, the way she's thinking for a second that that is not the way you would look at someone who's 'just a friend'.
and then the resignation and the sadness in the next moment, where i think darling realizes 'oh, we're both in the same boat; we're both in love with apple white'.
and i love that look of mixed pity and camaraderie; that look that shows that darling knows what raven's going through and what she's feeling (even if raven herself may not understand it right now) because she's also in love with apple.
of course there's just plain sadness because she feels bad for raven, whose best friend is currently in her magical coma, and it makes sense why she would sympathize with raven for that.
but i personally like to see it in the light that darling's heart is torn realizing that they're both stuck here, next to the girl they love, a love that will probably remain unrequited because (at this point yk) daring's supposed to be apple's prince, and apple herself will never know about how they feel, and apple will never return either of their feelings.
to cut it short, it's darling looking at raven looking at apple and thinking "oh my god i thought i was the only gay bitch in love with apple white".
I like rapple as a doomed relationship, i like rapple in a unrequited matter, I like rapple in a angsty Matter.
Simply because i love how in show and books they feed us 90% Angst and 10% fluff, I don’t ship rapple in a mutual romance because i personally think they don’t work and i find it hard to ship two characters if the feeling never feels like working in a mutual matter. BUT THATS ALSO WHY I LOVE THEM! they are so toxic, They aren’t meant for each other and it makes it so fucking angsty and delicious.
It just makes it 100% better when Apple starts crushing on her FUTURE enemy because GOD it’s evidential, it’s written everywhere, the whole “i want you to sign” vs “i don’t want to sign” is literally a metaphor of Apple wanting to be with raven while raven doesn’t want to be with her.
It just makes it better when apple has DREAMT of a future with raven, It just makes it better how Apple is always conflicted between destiny and her personal feelings when it comes down to raven but none of her other friends IT JUST MAKES IT BETTER!
And then there’s raven who Straight off gives Apple the same treatment she gives all her friends, it’s like How raven had saved Apple many of times she has done it to many of her friends as well(Mainly Maddie) add to ravens obvious liking towards dexter.
It makes it so better how every time Raven is just like “You are a great friend” APPLE IS JUST SUFFOCATING INSIDE!
UNREQUITED RAPPLE YOU WILL ALWAYS BE LOVED BY ME! BECAUSE I LOVE HOW DESPITE RAVENS FEELINGS NOT GOING AS FAR AS THAT EVEN AT THE BEGINNING SHE TREATED APPLE LIKE ANY OF HER OTHER FRIENDS!
SHE BASICALLY SAYS THAT APPLE IS SOMEONE SPECIAL TO HER!
EVEN WHEN THEY ARE BOTH SPECIAL TO EACH OTHER IN DIFFERENT LEVELS OF FEELINGS!

Hello everyone. I struggled with what to post, but after some months I figured it out. Here's my Ever after high tier list of ships. Its alot, so I'm not going to explain them all. I guess I could explain more detail for each category, like what I mean.
1. BITCHES GET MARRIED: It means I really love the ship and that I could see them being together forever after.
2. They're cool: Means the ship is fine, it's not to bad, and I still have some love for the ship.
3. Eh: Means, I don't see too much for them. Like, the ships aren't bad but I also don't see anything for them.
4. Bleh: It means I can't exactly see anything for these ships, like for example, Alistair x Bunny. The two characters in the ship are fine, but, between the two they don't really have any chemistry together and they aren't too interesting.
5. ERROR: Means, I dislike the ship in general and I see these characters more as friends, or siblings. Like for example, Daring x Apple, I see them more as friends/siblings considering they were really just together because of destiny.
6. I really don't know: It means I don't know where to put them, or I really just don't see anything for them. Like friendship or even romance. Or I'm really unsure of where they should go.
Alright, there you go. Now you know what I mean by each category. I hope you like my tier list as well.
(Update: so, in the ERROR section of this tier list, I won't say every ship I dislike, they wouldnt be my fave but I don't care for them as much. I can't really explain it but with rapple(raven x apple), I actually don't mind the ship, it's an ok ship. Darling x raven(don't know the ship name), I don't mind that ship either. Now that I'm looking back at this post, some of the ships I never really disliked in the first place.)

She’s not a bad person and she’s not good person. She’s a dichotomous CHILD who has been taught since she was born that even thinking for herself will get her and everyone she cares for killed.
No, she’s not right about most of anything really, but that’s for her to learn with the help of the people she loves and who loves her. She’ll grow because she’s a person, not a monolith. And I know this just a character, but there are so many people just like her in the world that honestly need to be kicked to rock bottom just so they can see the world for what it really is. More forgiving than they were raised to believe.
And I understand the frustration with her. Trust me, I love her and still feel frustrated by what she says and does. But the difference is I understand that she’s a child and can change.

Liking monster high while being in the Ever After High fandom is so silly because. Like. Monster high has a thriving fanbase and three generations, meanwhile eah has 30 people, hopes, and prayers.
i love how monster high is all like “come as you are! you’re beautiful and enough no matter your claws, scales, or freaky flaws!” and ever after high is “we must tear down this fascist institution that has been forced on us for generations encouraging compliance and tradition because choice is a vital right everyone deserves, no matter how bad people say they are, because morality was invented by the cruel system which drives us apart from our friends and curses us to unfair, miserable lives”
ever after high versus monster high is just an extremely rich private school versus public school bcs like cleo and torelai can be mean but are kinda just typical bullies who are rude but you can tolerate while kids in ever after high are like “you are lower than me societally and you are doomed to have an awful life reflecting the systemic oppression of all those who came before you and despite having different intentions and dreams since you were born into the wrong situation if you fail to accomplish those duties you are endangering all of us with dark fates. which only YOU GUYS are supposed to have. we are supposed to be happy and rich!” also because headmaster bloodgood is like actually a positive force in her students lives while grimm is a fascist cult leader focused on status. Cupid wtf?😭😭😭
