here is my rendition of the scene :

Wind Master wouldn't want to miss Xie Lian's fruit party! (And of course he drags Earth Master with him) 🍇

What is the one thing people assume about you that you wish wasn’t true?

“People like to assume that just because I’m the only person I can afford to have working at the shop right now means that I’m easy pickings! But that’s just not true! I’m not easy to pick on!!
In fact!! People who try to take advantage of me will be surprised to find out that I can bench press one hundred forty pounds and I’m not afraid to throw pots of dirt at ne’er-do-wells!”
There’s … the slightest bit of hesitation as she reaches to take his hand. Like she knows a little more than she lets on.
But she smiles, regardless. Bonchan waves her bone club excitedly, and Anzu laughs.
“Yes! I am. I hope you are too? I hope we aren’t bothering you.”

"Anzu. Bonchan."
He nods his head and studies their reactions, faces, and applies the names he'd learned to them. It's a little bit surreal to have a neutral reaction to an introduction.
It's slowly becoming a more frequent occurrence. Perhaps one day, he'll get used to it.
"I am very pleased to have met you both. Enjoying the festival?"
Her eyes don’t stray from his face, as much as one would expect her to avoid him altogether. That wouldn’t be right, though… even if people would assume Anzu has enough of a reason to.
“Oh, I was awful at the magikarp stall,” she laughs, voice gentle. Bonchan waves her club — apparently, she’s upset that Anzu wasn’t able to win! “And I didn’t do the shooting gallery. But I went to the prayer shrine and got my fortune … and I met Bonchan at the adoption area.”
Her voice gives pause, like she’s trying to come up with the correct thing to say; it takes a moment, but she nods, and Bonchan whines.
“I haven’t been to the festival since I was a little girl. I’m glad I gathered the courage to come.”

“Oh, I’m not a trainer,” she laughs, shaking her head. Bonchan squirms, trying to babble in baby-talk to Giovanni. Anzu bounces the Cubone to try and soothe her. “I own a flower shop in saffron! I’ve worked there for … wow, eight years now. The old owners retired about four years ago and left the place to me…”
She has a handful of Pokémon. Bellossom. Rattata. Snubbull. A crobat. A galarian Meowth. Pokémon she befriended as a child or her uncle gave her to stop her whining.
“I never went on to battle gyms or anything,” she adds, “I wanted to help my dad, so I got a job as soon as I could. We didn’t have a lot for a couple of years, but we’re doing better now.”
She pauses again. Trying to find her words.
“but you ran one. A gym. A long time ago, right?”

“Yes! It’s just me running the place! I had to shut down the shop for a few days to attend. My papa offered to run it, but he doesn’t know the first thing about flowers. He’s busy with his job, anyway.”
She seems proud of that fact. She’s worked hard to be where she is today. Even if it was in ways that other people were dismissive of because of her personality.
People don’t expect little girls that keep a positive attitude and are a little ditsy to work as hard as she did.
“I remember. I was … eight? Maybe nine? But I remember.”
a pause. She opens her mouth, only to close it again. She’s smiling, but the shift in her eyes says something else.
“You seem happy. I’m glad, Sakaki-san.”
