"Good morning, Y/N." Eddie greeted, fishing the keys out his pocket to unlock his front door.

He glanced over at you as you stepped out your apartment, your work uniform on and coffee thermos balancing in your hand with your phone and purse while you fiddled with your keys in the other hand.

"Oh, hey, Eddie." You replied, giving him a small smile. "Sorry, I would love to stay and chat, but I'm already running late for work. Stupid alarm didn't go off."

Eddie chuckled softly, "second time this week. Think you might need a new alarm clock."

"Yeah, or maybe a job that doesn't start at six in the bloody morning." You muttered, locking the door to your apartment. "What are you doing up so early anyway?"

TELL HER WE WERE FIGHTING CRIME.

"I, uh, actually haven't slept yet." Eddie admitted, ignoring Venom's voice completely.

THAT IS NOT WHAT I SAID. SHE WILL THINK WE ARE WEIRD.

"Ah, I see. Reporter stuff, right?"

"Right." He nodded.

You smiled, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear as you looked over at him. Taking in the tattoos peeking out from under his sleeve.

SHE IS CHECKING US OUT. Venom observed as Eddie stood by his door awkwardly, not knowing what else to say to you.

You had moved in next door about a year ago now. Eddie had bumped into you while you were carrying your boxes up the stairs, the old shitty elevator broken.

He had been such a gentleman and helped you with the rest of your boxes, even offered to help you unpack. Ever since then, the two of you had hit it off. He was a good friend. A little odd sometimes, but you liked that about him.

"I should, umm, get going. If I don't make it back, my boss has killed me." You suddenly said, realising that you had been staring at him for a little too long.

"Good luck." Eddie called out, watching you jog down the stairs, giving him a quick thumbs up before you disappeared.

HER BOSS IS GOING TO KILL HER? WE MUST KILL HIM FIRST!

Suddenly Venom emerged over his shoulder, his wide white eyes looking at him in almost panic.

"Relax, V. She was just joking. Nobody is killing anyone." Eddie insisted, pushing open his door and walking into the apartment.

"ARE WE SURE?" Venom asked.

Eddie nodded, "Positive. Now I need sleep."

He walked across his apartment, stripping off his jacket and jeans before crawling into bed, Venom reappearing over his shoulder as he laid down on the mattress.

"I am not sleeping with you watching over me. We've been over this." Eddie sighed, looking at the symbiote.

"WE SHOULD ASK Y/N OUT." Venom suddenly said, ignoring what Eddie had said completely.

"Whoa, no. No way."

"WHY NOT?"

"Why not? Have you seen her? She is way out of our league, buddy." Eddie responded, looking at Venom.

"WE LIKE HER."

"Of course, we do. What's not to like? But it doesn't change my answer. She can do better than someone like me."

"DON'T SELL YOURSELF SHORT, EDDIE. YOU MAY BE A LOSER, BUT TOGETHER WE ARE LESS OF A LOSER."

Eddie rolled his eyes, "thanks for the pep talk, pal. But I really need sleep."

To his relief, Venom reluctantly retracted himself back inside and a few minutes later, he was dozing off.

"See you guys tomorrow." You called out over your shoulder as you left work.

It felt like your shift was never going to end, and after your boss threatened to fire you if you were late again, it had been a shitty day.

Stepping outside, you took a deep breath of fresh air or as fresh as the air got in the city anyway. You walked along the footpath, taking your usual route back to your apartment. It was only a 15-minute walk, so you didn't mind. It was good exercise and it beat taking the crowded bus with every other worker.

"Hey, pretty lady." A familiar voice suddenly said from the alleyway.

Shit.

You knew that creepy slimy voice from anywhere. That man hung around this area, usually he was fine. He usually sits in alleyways doing whatever drugs he could get a hold of, but other times, he would try and get your attention.

You were pretty sure he was harmless. Sure, he'd wolf whistle and try and get you to come over to him. But usually when you kept walking and ignored him, he would leave you alone.

But not today.

"Hey, I'm talking to you!" The man shouted, walking out the alleyway and into the Main Street. "Come have some fun with me. I'll even pay you, how about that?"

You glanced over your shoulder to find the man now following you along the footpath.

"Not interested." You said, looking at him for a moment before you picked up the pace and started to walk faster.

"Oh, now don't be like that. Pretty thing like you all alone, we can have some fun." He continued to say.

You didn't say anything in response to that, instead you walked even faster and pulled your keys from your pocket, slipping each individual key between your fingers. You glanced into the shop beside you, spotting the man through the window reflection right behind you.

Fuck. Fucking, fuck.

You looked further up the road, spotting your apartment as you contemplated what to do. You were nearly home, nearly to safety, but did you really want this creep to know which building you lived in? Absolutely not.

"Come on, baby. I know you want this."

Suddenly, his long gangly fingers clasped your shoulder and pulled you to a halt.

"Don't fucking touch me!" You snapped, spinning around and shoving the man in the chest, sending him staggering back.

"You like rough, eh? That's alright, I like it when they fight back." He responded, a sickening grin spreading across his face, exposing his crooked yellow teeth.

"I have a boyfriend."

That was all your brain could muster up as you stood there in utter fear staring at the man, but your lie didn't have any effect on him.

In an instant, you turned around and sprinted down the footpath.

You didn't dare look back in fear that he was still following you as you kept your focus on running. One foot after the other until you reached the apartment building.

Hastily, you grabbed your key card out, swiping the card reader in the door and opening it. But you didn't get a chance to close it before his foot blocked the door and that sickening grin spread across his face.

Shit.

"My boyfriend is home. He's a cop. You don't want to try anything." You quickly said, before you rushed across the foyer and pressed the button for the elevator.

To your relief, the elevator doors instantly opened, and you stepped inside, frantically pressing your floor and the 'close door' button as you watched the man march across the foyer.

"C'mon. Close. Close." You whispered, pressing the button again and again, until the door finally closed, mere seconds before he could reach you.

A shaky sigh of relief left your mouth as you leant back against the wall of the elevator. Your entire body was trembling, your heart beating faster than you had ever experienced as you tried to catch your breath after running.

A moment later, the elevator doors opened as you stepped out and began walking down the corridor towards your door when suddenly you heard the other elevator ding.

Your stomach dropped as you turned around just in time to see the creepy guy step out the second elevator.

Without hesitation, you spun around and jogged down the hallway, going straight past your apartment door and knocking on Eddie's front door instead.

Please still be home. Please be home.

"Babe! I left my keys inside, can you let me in?" You shouted, as you continuously banged on the door.

You spared a glance at the creepy man who was still standing by the elevator. His arms folded across his chest as he waited to see what would happen.

"EDDIE, YOU NEED TO WAKE UP." Venom's voice shouted, forcing Eddie's eyes to snap open as he woke up abruptly.

Venom was already out, floating in front of him causing him to frown.

"V, we talked about this. Don't watch me sleep. It's weird, man." Eddie mumbled, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"Y/N IS KNOCKING ON THE DOOR. WE MUST LET HER IN."

Eddie opened his mouth to respond before Venoms words actually sunk in and he frowned in confusion.

Wait, what?

"SHE IS SCARED, EDDIE." Venom added.

That's when he heard it, the frantic knocking.

She really was at his door.

"Is she okay? Why is she scared?" He asked, quickly jumping out of bed and grabbing his jeans from the floor.

"UNSURE. BUT WE MUST HELP HER."

Eddie had a million more questions to ask, but when he heard your voice, he knew there was no time as he ran to the front door and Venom disappeared back inside him.

He flicked the lock off and yanked it open, only to come face to face with your panicked Y/E/C eyes.

"Oh, thank goodness. Sorry, babe, I left my keys inside." You said, your voice coming out a little shaky despite trying to act calm, but he knew you were freaked out.

Babe. Why did you call him babe? And why were you freaked out?

THERE IS A MAN BY THE ELEVATOR. HE IS WATCHING HER.

"Good thing I was home. How was work, sweetheart?" Eddie asked, playing along and stepping to the side to let you in.

Relief washed over your face as you stepped into his apartment before Eddie stepped out and looked down the corridor to find that there was a man standing by the elevator.

He knew everyone who lived in this building, and he was not one of them.

"You got a problem, pal?" Eddie called out, folding his arms across his chest as he stood in the doorway and stared at him.

The man instantly shook his head, pressing the button for the elevator. But Eddie didn't move until he watched the stranger get into the elevator, making sure he was gone.

EDDIE, SHE IS STILL SCARED. Venom warned causing him to turn around to find you standing in the middle of his apartment staring at the floor.

"Are you okay?" He asked, closing the door behind himself as he looked over at you.

"I'm fine. I'm fine." You quickly said, shaking your head at yourself as you ran shaky fingers through your hair, trying to calm yourself down.

SHE IS NOT FINE.

"Are you sure? Sit down, you look like you're about to pass out." He said, motioning towards the couch.

To his relief, you didn't argue as you walked over to his couch and sat down.

"Do you want a glass of water or something?" He asked hesitantly, but you shook your head. "You wanna tell me what happened? Did that guy hurt you?"

"No, no. He, uh, he was just harassing me, saying shit and followed me home... he's harassed me before. But that's the first time he's followed me all the way." You explained, refusing to look at Eddie as you spoke. "I got scared. That's why I knocked on your door. I told him you were my boyfriend."

Eddie would have been more focused on you calling him your boyfriend, if it wasn't for the fact that you said this wasn't the first time it's happened.

"Wait, has this guy harassed you before?"

"Yeah. It's no big deal, he just whistles and says shit when I walk past. He doesn't usually follow me though." You admitted, and Eddie could feel Venom trembling with rage inside of him.

WE SHOULD EAT HIS HEAD.

Eddie ignored him and sat down beside you. "Why didn't you tell me?"

You shrugged your shoulders, looking over at him. "I didn't want to bother you."

"Y/N you're never a bother to me."

"Thank you, and thanks for playing along when you answered the door. I'm sorry, I probably woke you up, didn't I?"

"Nah, I was already awake."

MORE LIKE FAST ASLEEP AND DREAMING ABOUT Y/N RIDING A MOTORCYCLE.

Eddie had to hold back his comment about telling Venom to shut the fuck up, instead he cleared his throat and looked over at you again.

"I can walk with you to work tomorrow? Just to make sure the asshole got the hint that you were taken, if you want?" He offered causing your eyes to widen in surprise.

"You'd do that? But my shift starts super early-"

"We both know I'm usually awake anyway, right? Reporter stuff." He replied with a soft smile causing you to chuckle.

"You have a horrible sleeping schedule, Eddie."

He nodded in agreement, "yeah, I'm aware of that."

Eddie walked you to work the following day, but there was no sign of the creepy guy anywhere.

A whole week passed since that incident.

You and Eddie had hung out a few times at the cafe across the street and you had invited him over for a movie night last weekend. It was weird, but that incident had bought the two of you closer and despite how terrifying it had been to have that stranger follow you, it actually ended up working well.

You liked Eddie a lot. But you knew he didn't like you the same way, but being friends was enough. You got to hang out and be around him, that was all you could ask for.

It wasn't until you just finished at work after pulling a double shift, that the creepy guy showed up again.

It was late. Nearly midnight as you made your way back home, walking along the footpath under the streetlights above you.

You didn't even hear or see the man until it was too late.

Before you knew what was happening, you were being dragged down into a dark side alleyway. All you could see was the creepy crooked yellow teeth as the man grinned.

"Been waiting for this." He said, shoving you against the brick wall, your forehead slamming against it as he pressed your front up against the wall.

"No!" You screamed, trying to push him away. "Let go of me!"

It didn't work though. The man was taller than you and definitely outweighed you in muscle, but that didn't stop you as you thrashed in his grip, trying to break free.

"The more you struggle, the more it'll hurt." He whispered in your ear.

You could feel blood dripping down the side of your head from where it slammed into the brick wall, but that was the furthest thing from your mind right now.

"Get the fuck off me!" You shouted, trying and failing to fight against him.

He grabbed the back of your work shirt and threw you onto the ground, ripping your shirt completely off, leaving you in a bra and pants as you hit the concrete, hard.

"I'm going to enjoy this." The man said, taking a step towards you as he reached for the button of his pants and began to undo it. "You're going-"

Whatever the man was going to say, died in his throat when suddenly a huge black figure jumped down from the roof of the building next door, landing between him and you.

You stared up at the black figure in shock. It's body twice the size of a regular man with black goo covering its entire body.

Okay, maybe you had hit your head a little too hard.

"IF YOU HURT HER AGAIN. IN FACT, IF YOU SO MUCH AS LOOK IN HER GENERAL DIRECTION AGAIN, WE WILL FIND YOU AND EAT YOU. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?"

You crawled away from the two of them, until your back hit the brick wall behind you. You knew you should run. You knew you should get the hell away from whatever this large black figure was, but you found yourself unable to move. You stared at the black figure in front of you, its muscular back facing you while the creepy guy dropped to his knees with his hands raised in surrender.

"Please. Please. Don't eat me." He begged, his voice trembling as he stared up at the thing in front of him with wide petrified eyes.

"ON SECOND THOUGHT."

You watched in shock as the figure reached out, grabbing the creepy guy's shoulder before its mouth opened wider than you thought possible, exposing white razor-sharp teeth. Deep down, you knew you should be terrified. This was a literal alien in front of you, but for some reason, you knew this creature wouldn't hurt you. How you knew that was something you couldn't quite figure out. But you weren't scared.

Even when the creature bit the man's head off, you weren't scared. Your eyes were transfixed on the scene before you as the black creature ate the rest of the body. The creature kept its back facing you and after a few seconds the figure began to shrink down to the size of a regular human, the black goo seeping into the persons skin and clothes and you found yourself staring at the back of a man's head.

Wait, was that...

"I'm sorry you had to see that." Eddie's familiar voice said, breaking the silence.

Slowly, Eddie turned to face you, his familiar eyes meeting yours. Those bright blues were filled with so much worry and fear as he stared down at you. You found yourself unable to say anything, still trying to process what just happened.

Eddie quickly pulled his leather jacket off and walked over to you. He was moving slowly, like he was scared to make any sudden movements, almost as if he was approaching a scared wild animal that might run away at the slightest movement.

You were breathing heavily, your body trembling as you sat with your back against the brick wall. Your body was paralysed in fear, but it wasn't in fear of Eddie or the black creature inside him, it was with what had just happened or more precisely, about what could have happened if Eddie hadn't stepped in.

"Here." He said, his voice gentler than you had ever heard it as he knelt before you and gently draped the jacket over your exposed upper body. "Are you okay?"

You nodded, not trusting your voice at the moment as you shifted away from the wall and pulled his jacket on properly, zipping it up and covering your bare skin from the cool night breeze.

Eddies brows furrowed as he looked up at the cut on your forehead. You could feel the blood sticking to the side of your face and matting in your hair, but it didn't hurt.

Eddie lifted his hand, reaching for your face, but you flinched when his hand got close and he instantly pulled away, his blue eyes meeting yours with guilt.

SHE IS SCARED OF US.

"I'm sorry. I... we won't hurt you. Venom won't hurt you." Eddie hurriedly reassured.

"Venom?" You asked, your rough voice sounding foreign to your ears.

"The, uh, the thing inside me. His name is Venom." Eddie awkwardly explained, rubbing the back of his neck almost anxiously. "I'm so sorry you had to find out this way. I wanted to tell you. We-we wanted to tell you, but I didn't want to scare you away."

"I'm... I'm not scared of you." You whispered, meeting Eddie's worried gaze before you glanced over his shoulder to where the creepy guy had been standing a few minutes prior.

Eddie frowned a little in confusion before he followed your line of sight and he quickly looked back over at you, realisation washing over him.

"That guy won't be bothering you again. No guys will ever be bothering you again."

IF ANYONE DOES, WE WILL EAT THEM.

"Venom says if they do, he will eat them."

You smiled softly, "how-how long has... how long has Venom been with you?"

"A few months before you moved in next door, I think." Eddie answered. "That doesn't freak you out, does it? I mean, I'd understand if it did. I totally freaked out when I learnt I basically had a parasite living inside me."

PARASITE?! TAKE THAT BACK.

"Can I see him? Venom?" You asked.

Eddie seemed surprised by your words and hesitated for a moment, unsure if you were going to take it back or not before he simply nodded and a second later, Venom emerged from Eddie's shoulder.

"ITS A PLEASURE TO FINALLY MEET YOU, Y/N. EDDIE, TALKS ABOUT YOU A LOT."

That had you giggling a little and you found yourself smiling without realising it. The events of earlier now disappearing from your mind as you stared at Venom in curiosity.

"Oh, does he now?" You asked, your eyes flashing over to Eddie who was blushing slightly.

"V, shut up."

You chuckle softly, looking between the two of them with a fond smile.

"Thank you, both of you for saving me. I know some people might be freaked out by this, but I think it's pretty cool." You admitted causing Eddie's body to relax at your words as a relieved smile spread across his face.

"SHE THINKS WE ARE COOL, EDDIE. NOT A LOSER."

"Yeah, I heard her buddy."

Eddie slowly stood up, holding his hand out towards you which you took, allowing him to help you to your feet. You stumbled a little, your head starting to spin as you grabbed it, wincing when your fingers made contact with the cut.

"Whoa, easy. I got you." Eddie reassured, his hand grabbing your shoulder and steadying you. "Are you okay?"

"SHE IS CLEARLY NOT OKAY, EDDIE." Venom observed causing you to snort at his bluntness.

"Yes, I can see that. I was just trying to be nice." Eddie sighed, glaring at Venom over his shoulder before focusing back on you. "Do you want me to take you to the hospital?"

"No, just... can you walk me back to my apartment? I don't- I don't want to walk home alone after..." You trailed off, but Eddie nodded in understanding.

"Of course, c'mon." He said, hesitating for a second before he wrapped his arm around your shoulder and leading you out the alley.

You leant into his side, the fear from earlier washing away into a feeling of safeness. Eddie was safe. You felt comfortable and safe under his arm. He had said nobody would ever hurt you again, and you believed him.

Stolen Cookies - Eddie x M!Reader x Venom

Summary: With Venom munching away on your cookies, Eddie sneaks a few in until you come into the kitchen and watch the little scene in front of you

Scrolling through his phone and leaning on the table, Eddie read the news about some random shit. “Stop stealing his cookies.” He tells the symbiote off.

He turns his body ‘round to see Venom moving his head out of the cookie jar with a cookie in his mouth and crumbs all over his mouth.

“But these are good, Eddie.” He says with his mouth full.

“Don’t blame me if he starts to go off about his cookies.” Eddie turns back to lean against the table and read the news once again.

Venom retreats back with a few cookies. He settles in the human’s hoodie to start munching away on the treat.

The bites of the food makes Eddie crave for the cookies as a friend of yours had made them for you and the treat is really good.

Eddie takes two cookies out of the jar to snack on.

“He’s going to start yelling at you, Eddie.”

“Shut up.”

“Shut up about what?”

Both your boyfriend and symbiote choke on the cookie they’re eating.

Crumbs are all over their mouths.

You walk towards the two. Being close enough, Venom transfers himself to your body to have a small bit of him go through your fingers.

“Eddie stole your cookies.”

“You did too, you parasite!”

“I’m not a parasite!”

The two begin to argue over nothing with Venom’s head now over your shoulder.

You push his head back, himself nuzzling his face into your hand. “Quiet.” You snarl. “It’s fine if you took some of the cookies. My friend is bringing more tonight.”

The two then have big smiles on their faces.

“But the both of you are only gonna get one tonight.”

“What?”

“What the hell?” Eddie and Venom yell in unison.

Forever Hungry || Eddie Brock x Reader

Summary: Venom interrupted something really important, causing a commotion.

Day was busy and you had a lot of work at your agency. You kept on going only because you knew at evening you were about to meet with your boyfriend, Eddie. However, he was not only your boyfriend. He was first and foremost your boss. Working at press agency wasn't too easy but you managed and you had a great results.

"No, I don't have time for a snack break now, V." Eddie muttered reading some random paper. "Besides, I am not really hungry like now and I AM busy." He said.

"I don't care, we're hungry and we want that nice chocolate bar from machine like yesterday. If you won't provide it, we'll eat your kidney or liver," symbiote said forming itselt next to Eddie.

Its sight fell on the large window in Eddie's office when you were passing it by.

"She's nice," Venom added.

"First of all! Hide yourself. Second, you can't demage me because where you will find as great host as me. And the last thing…," Eddie looked at the window to catch a small glimpse of you. "Yes... Yes she is," he sighed. "A bit," Eddie added suddenly, shrugging.

Venom formed a hand and blew a hit into back og man's head.

"You're really a loser, Eddie, trust us, we'd love to eat ya, so we'd be able to seek for another host, maybe this time we'd be lucky enough to not get onto someone...," symbiote looked for a proper words, his huge eyes looked right in Eddie's. "Some macho, not a piece of turd."

Symbiote hid into Eddie's body again but he spoke into his mind.

"Don't be a dumbshit, we good know what you think of her. We can help you with getting to her panties, loser."

"I wanna remind you that I already did that! By myslef," Eddie growled. "I can't believe that some…," he looked for a right word. "Cosmic parasite is calling me names."

After another hour of working Eddie let out a loud sigh.

"Okay... Let's go to machine and get something to eat. Are you happy, V?," Eddie asked, getting up from his seat.

"No. Now we'll stick that bar up your ass," symbiote snorted in man's thoughts.

When Brock got on the corridor and to the snack machine, you happened to fall on him while walking with pile of documents you were needing at one of your cases.

"Oh, shit! Sorry, Eddie! I didn't see you! What a mess!," you mumbled crouching and starting to gather files.

"Move your stupid ass, turd," Venom said to Eddie.

"Shut up you parasite," Eddie muttered quietly and his attention immediately went to you. "Don't worry, Y/N. Let me help you."

Eddie started to help you pick up the files.

"So... Why you have that much stuff on you? I don't recall giving you that much work," he said with a worried and confiused tone, looking trough papers and files.

You tilted head with carefree smile on your lips.

"I think I found a nice case, apparently some people stated they've seen an alien. Reports come from all the city, different places. And, well, they even started to call this thing a hero, it chases some criminals, y'know?," you explained and frowned. "Hey, Ed, you look pale, everything's alright?"

"C'mon, cowboy, say something or we'll eat her head," Venom grunted.

Eddie complitly ignored Venom's word.

"An alien? This isn't a New York, sweetheart," he  gave you a fake laugh and pointed on one of the papers, he read it at loud. "'I saw a big black thing chasing a car thief' - Really? This sounds more like some kind of urban legend," Eddie said trying his best to pull your attention away from Venom subject.

"Maybe, who knows. I think I'll investigate a bit. Maybe lurk around my district and try to catch something?," you said more to yourself. "Just imagine those headlines: ALIEN IN SAN FRANCISCO or ALIEN FOR THE RESCUE. We'd sell more than our standard print-run!," you seemed to be very excited. "But enough about work," you said putting files onto nearest desk to wrap arms around Eddie.

Eddie rolled his eyes and wrapped his arms around you.

"Yes, enough about work. I am done with work for today. Wanna come to my place, order some food and watch a movie?"

"Sounds like a plan, pal," you said happily. "Just give me 15 minutes, I'll finish my work and clean my desk, we can meet on the parking lot," you proposed.

"Sounds like a plan," he repeat happily after you nodding, then he ran to his office to grab his leather jacket and two helmets. He quickly went to the parking lot.

"You see, V? I don't need your help," Eddie said being proud of himself. "Kiss my ass, parasite. I will fuck her so hard tonight that she will scream my name," he said zipping up his jacket, looking around.

Venom formed his head in front of Eddie's face and looked at man with pity.

"With that small piece of sausage in your pants? For sure, Eddie. Live in a dream."

"At last I have a dick," Eddie commented and smiled as he saw you. "Heeey there, gorgeous! Ready for a ride?," he asked and pat his motorcycle.

"How we agreed!?," Venom grunted into man's ear. "We remember correctly what we've said: 'ah, ok, but don't be longer than hour', and what time we do have now? It's 2:30 pm! We shall be home since almost 2 hours! What means you're a fucking liar and pussy, Eddie," Venom grunted and hid himself when he spotted you coming back.

"Here," you handled a dark blue suit to Eddie. "Try it on."

"Shut up! You see it's not easy!," Eddie growled at Venom and his attention quickly moved to you. "Oh! You are amazing, sweetheart," Eddie took the suit to try it on.

You waited politely in front of changing room and as soon as Eddie opened the door, you grimaced. "Well... I was expecting it to fit... Better," you replied with a shrug of your shoulders.

Venom formed his head next to Eddie's again. "Exactly, Y/N, just look at that pussy in suit. He looks like a turd. Well, he IS a turd, actually."

"V, hey, apologize," you commanded crossing arms over your chest. "We'll find him a great suit, I promise."

"I told him to live on the big breakfast you made," Eddie shrugged and sighed. "Let's.... Just put this suit away and let's go eat something. I wil just put some nice pants and shirt and wile be fine."

You poked his shoulder. "You outta your mind? You wanna put regular shirt and pants on such an event? Never," you smiled. "Let's go grab something to eat, then we come back here and try few more. Is it ok for you? V?"

Venom covered Eddie's face with himself and smirked viciously, nodding. "Perfect, Y/N. At least you understand us. That moment when a girl has bigger balls than you, Ed."

Eddie rolled his eyes and growled as soon as Venom hid. "Get off my face you parasite!"

After a brief lunch in Subway, just like Venom picked, you and Eddie came back to the clothes store. You helped him pick two suits: one grey and one black.

Unfortunately, within 5 minutes, Venom got bored and hungry again. He formed his head next to Eddie's and sighed deeply. "Y/N, let's quit this. He's too fat to look good in anything. We told him to work his fat ass more but he's lazy."

You couldn't help but giggled. "It's not that bad."

Eddie let out a loud sighed. "Maybe he is right, Y/N. I still have white button-up shirt, pants. I am getting sick of his fucking comments," he said looking at you.

"Only one more," you asked kissing his cheek and stroking his belly. "For me."

When Eddie put another suit on, Venom formed himself once again and moaned longly. "We can't anymore! We're hungry and bored! No one takes care of us! And we didn't want that nice sandwich but chocolate! We need a chocolate! We need endorphins!"

"WHAT?! We ate like few minutes ago! And you wanted to go to this freaking Subway! Stop that! I have my own life too, I can't just take care of you all the time! Y/N! Tell him something!," Eddie yelled in irritated voice.

You blinked and put on poker face. "V, Eddie's right. You disturb us and we really have to pick nee clothes for him," you instructed symbiote.

Venom made a sad face and growled angrily. "No! Because Venom is important too! Not only Brock! Brock is nice and we love him but does anyone love us?! Of course not! Venom, leave this, Venom, leave that, don't eat this, don't eat that, no eating doggos or any other pathetic animals that are common among streets, no! No delicious snacks for Venom! We can't stand this anymore!"

After these words Venom overtook Eddie's body ripping the brand new suit apart and howling.

The customer assistant that approached yelled loudly when she spotted the devastation symbiote made and fainted.

Eddie came back quickly. "Are you kidding me?! We eat what you want, we keep extra food in house FOR YOU! She is petting you like a puppy when she can! And you tell me we don't care?! And you just killed the shopping assistant. Just great!," Eddie sighed and rubbed his face. "What now??"

You watched the entire scene with horror on your face but eventually you laughed shortly. "I think we have to look for some chocolate for our sad friend," you smiled at Eddie and then walked to assistant. "She's just fainted."

"We have chocolate at home!," Eddie reminded.

You looked around shrugging. "So… Well... Let's get the fuck out of here before someone will notice," you winked at Eddie.

Steve Rogers was sitting in a waiting room, reading some newspaper that he found on a coffee table. He drank two coffees already while waiting for Eddie Brock to show up.

They were set on an interview but reporter was getting late and Steve started to thinking that Brock probably forgot about appointment. "Would you be so kind to call him once again?," Steve asked a receptionist.

She smiled hesitantly. "I did few times with no response. I'm sorry. Please, be patient, I believe he's on his way."

Tony rolled his eyes. "I can't believe this! We waste our time here, right now I would be sitting in my lab creating some amazing tech and you would…," he look at Steve, "be sighing sadly to Peggy's photo or whatever you super soldier do, but no! You dragged me here," Tony growled.

Captain cocked his brow angrily. "Petience, Stark. It's one of these virtues that you lack," he said, sipping black liquid from his mug. "Brock and his alien friend have saved the world after all, we owe him this interview at least."

"Says the guy that drinks coffee like crazy. I own him nothin', simple 'okay thanks!' would be enough, but our golden hearted soldier had to be like 'sure! Interview is cool'. We're on first pages all around New York. Like it's not enough. I am going home," Tony got up from his seat.

Just in that minute Eddie bursted right through the door. "Shit! Sorry! So sorry, I am late! But I am here now! Come on, I mean. Good Morning Mr. Rogers and Mr. Stark. Let's go to my office and well... Let's start," Eddie was in such a rush that he even didn't notice he still was wearing his riding helmet.

"Take this shit off your dumb head, you turd," Venom growled in man's mind. "Like you wouldn't look ridiculous enough without this shit on your huge head."

Steve smiled and walked to Brock, he shook man's hand. "Hello. It's not a problem, at all, right, Tony?"

Eddie blinked and quickly removed the helmet.

Tony smiled sarcastically. "Oh no! No, no, no, not a problem. At all. It's not like we have world to protect. F.R.I.D.A.Y says we have a day off today," Tony said sarcastically.

"I am still so sorry I forced such a guests to wait," Eddie said and led them to his office.

When Brock went ahead, Steve approached Tony and snorted into his ear. "Only for this one time try to restrain your awful personality, Stark."

They both entered the office with a beautiful view on the San Francisco. "You have a nice place here, Eddie," Steve smiled at man as he took a seat in an armchair.

"Nah, you never stop you child-like wonder and boyish charm, Cap. No, thanks." Tony muttered and followed Eddie inside his office. He sat down next to Steve and shrugged.

"Thank you, it's nothing really. I bet it's not like your famous Avengers Tower," Eddie said.

"No, it's not. You are right here, Mr. Alien friend," Tony said with smile.

Captain rolled his eyes and let out a loud sigh. "I'm sorry for my friend, he likes to be a dick sometimes," he explained. "So, what are your questions, Eddie?"

Venom formed himself and out his chin on Eddie's shoulder. "Hi, tasty guys."

"What? He said it himself. I just agreed with him. Agreeing with someone is beeing a dick?," Tony blinked and looked a Venom. "AH! Thanos eater, himself… Or…  Itself?"

Eddie let out a little laugh. "So, uhm. How is it to be an avenger? I mean, you do a lot of things. Isn't it a bit too much sometimes?"

"It's overwhelming actually," Steve said. "But as long as we do a good job with eliminating all possible threats, I enjoy it."

Venom's eyes glistened from sun rays that were falling into the room through a window. "Mr Rogers sounds so reasonable. And looks yummy."

"Venom, stop that. Please," Eddie said and looked at Tony. "Mr. Stark?"

Tony looked up. "I agree with Cap. I mean, it's hard but we are heroes, right? I enjoy it because ladies love the hero type," he smiled explaining openly.

Eddie blinked and nodded slowly. "Any... Not so nice stories you can shear with us?"

"Jesus, Tony," Steve facepalmed. "Well. We have few," he said, glaring at Stark. "Sokovia… for example."

Tony knew that look. He knew that Cap blamed him for Ultron outburst, just like everyone else. Tony sighed, glaring at Steve. "Winter Soldier and so called 'Civil war'."

Eddie blinked and let out an akward laugh, feeling the tension growing between two Avengers. "S-Somwthing else? I mean, even we heard about those events... I was asking about some small stuff. Maybe funny even?"

"Being the Avenger doesn't mean a lot of funny things to happen, at least that's my opinion," Rogers said. "But I always like when we all are reunited. That's it. Our team is a family to me," Steve giggled, not looking at Tony.

Venom yawned. "Eddie. We're hungry."

"It is a lot of fun! Imagine this big guy," Stark pointed at Cap, "talking to a printer, saying stuff like 'come on, magic box, copy this documets for me'. But overall Rogers is right. Reunions are nice. One big family."

Eddie nodded and looked at Venom. "V, you see I am busy," he then turned back to Cap and Tony. "Bigest fears? Biggest dreams? I know this are kinda silly questions, but you know," Eddie winked at them.

Steve didn't want to admit it but Tony's comment about Steve's problems with technologies of any kind cheered him up. "That's truth. I might be out of ice since few years now yet all this things are still so incomprehensible to me," said he. "I still try to accommodate."

Venom poked Eddie's cheek. "Man, please, we're starving in here!"

Steve smiled and let of a soft laughter. "I think I have Twinkies in my bag." After these words Captain opened his leather bag and pulled out a pack of Twinkies.

Venom has opened his eyes wide and licked his long fangs. "Share, share?," symbiote asked politely, smiling.

"You can have even entire pack," Steve got up and walked to Eddie's desk, he out cookies on the counter.

Venom looked at Eddie. He remembered what Eddie has told them recently. If they want to eat something when there are other people in the same room, they should behave according to something that Eddie called savoir vivre. It meant they couldn't eat loudly and fiercely, they couldn't make noises.

Venom though about it for awhile and licked his fangs, he was shivering all over his body. And even though he knew they weren't alone with Eddie, and that Eddie asked him to behave before that meeting, Venom opened his jaw widely, letting saliva drip onto the counter of desk and he ate entire pack, including a cardboard.

"Hrr, yummy! Thank you, Cap Bootylicious!"

Eddie let out a loud sigh and shook his head. "I am so sorry for him... This creature isn't from here and well," Eddie shrugged with soft smile.

"I have something too. I had to eat it later but... There ya go," Tonny said pulling out a chocolate bar from pocket of his jacket. "Originally it had to be for Peter... But he fell down with his grades," Tony shrugged, putting bar on the table.

Venom instantly ate the bar, humming loudly as he did. "Yass, that was precious, we're feeling so so good now," Venom stated and snuggled with Eddie. "We love you, guys. Even you, Ed."

Captain laughed loudly and shook his head. "It's not that we haven't seen things similar to this before," he said. "You're welcome, Venom."

"Wow. Thanks, Venom," Eddie rolled his eyes. "Okay guys, two last questions and.... You didn't answer on last ones," Edie reminded softly. He started to pet Venom gently. "So, biggest fears and dreams that were the previous question. Do you love what you two and others are doing? And any interesing words to our readers?"

"I'm afraid of failure and losing people that I love," Steve said and smiled as he noticed how Venom nuzzled to Eddie's neck. "I like what we're doing. It's important that Earth has protectors," he added.

Tony storked his hair. "I am afraid of being alone and just like Steve. I am afraid of losing people I love and care about," he nodded. "I love what we do. It helps me repay my faults and fix past mistakes. Once I was taking lives. Now I am saving them. Mostly. And words to your readers. Do not be afraid, Avengers are here to save the day," Tony added quickly and shrugged, looking at Steve. "And golden thoughts, Cap? Maybe something like you have recorded for Peter's school?," he joked.

Steve rolled his eyes and looked at Venom. "If he's gonna be so annoying, I'll let you eat him alive."

Venom blinked and stiffened. "Gladly, with pleasure!," he licked his fangs. "Even though he's more like sardines can, we will eat him."

Steve rubbed back of his head. "All I can say is spread love, not hate."

Tony blinked. "HEY! I am not a sardines can! And you cannot eat good people? Right?!"

Eddie nodded. "That's true, V you can't eat Tony Stark. He is a good guy." Then Eddie checked if everything was recoded and clapped his hands happily. "I guess we are done. You two were just... Simply amazing! Thank you so much!"

"Pleasure is on our side," Steve said and shook Eddie's hand. He also petted Venom's head.

Symbiote opened his eyes widely, humming. "What a shame you ain't gay, Ed. Captain's so precious."

"Yea. Exactly what he said," Tony agreed with Cap.

Eddie blinked and blished. "VENOM?! WHAT ARE YOU SAYING!"

Captain blinked and laughed hardly, almost choking himself with a water he was sipping.

"By who?," Venom was seemingly interested in topic.

"It's a secret," Steve winked at Venom and Eddie. "Maybe one day you'll figure out."

Tony rubbed his chin, thinking. "That's weird, Cap," he said and looked at his watch. "I think our time runs out."

Eddie looked at clock, too. "I think so, I don't want to hold you any longer. World to save and all."

Captain and Stark greeted Eddie and left.

Venom let out a sigh. "And we have almost provided you new friends."

"They are way ower me. Sadly we could never be real friends, V. Let's go get something to eat and then sit to writing, Y/N will come to check on us later."
