tbh the memory I remember and cringe incredibly hard at most often is the improv portion of my 10th grade theatre audition. I can still feel the disappointed stares of everyone in the room

it's not that being bad at improv is a bad thing
i don't think anyone expected me to be an Improv Master™️
but i handled that with the finesse of a five year old playing pretend with a younger sibling and refusing to accept any input from them
