My friend Mariam is fundraising again for many different Gazan artists and their families, including Reem's, and wanted to ask for your help in gathering $8,000 to help support them this coming winter.
After a year of daily massacres, so many Palestinians in Gaza are feeling hopeless and let down by humanity. But Mariam decided to do something and I hope you can help with her mission!
So many of her friends have left their homes in a hurry leaving everything they own behind. They're lacking basic necessities with most people becoming displaced more than ten different times. And with winter on the horizon, they need warm clothes and blankets, to help them weather the long, cold nights, and womens' hygiene kits all of which are incredibly scarce and expensive.
Mariam has asked me to help with her efforts to collect funds for 8 of her friends and their families. We are hoping to send $1000 for each family to help them prepare for the harsh winter in tents amidst constant bombings.

Imagine yourself in your home with your family in front of the heater and holding a cup of hot drink in your hand, and in contrast there is a whole city living in worn-out tents in the cold, with nothing to shelter them,
imagine the sight of children being rained on in a cloth tent at night, the tent being blown away by the strong winds, the cover they have on them is not enough,
all this while you put your tent in the street, because you have no place, this is what we experienced last winter and this is what we will suffer this winter as well,
as much as you are sympathetic and we are very grateful to you for your support, but it is not as you live the feeling, we are here struggling to live, we suffered from hunger, extreme heat and insects, and now we are suffering from the cold, life has exhausted us a lot
buying a tent is no longer an easy matter,
especially since my father suffered a stroke and needs physical therapy and special care, and my mother also needs treatment because she suffers from chronic diseases,

I am coming to you with a very urgent and time-sensitive appeal. We face a constant and imminent threat of death, injury and disease, even during the so-called “truce”. My home has been bombed and destroyed beyond repair. My family’s home. We have been under occupation all our lives, and none of us have experienced anything like what is happening now. There is now an opportunity to get the entire family out of Gaza to Egypt via the Rafah crossing. We do not know how long this opportunity will last, which makes it imperative that we raise the necessary funds as soon as possible. The longer it takes, the more vulnerable they will be. No one knows how long the bombing of Gaza will continue. It will continue, regardless of the cost in human lives. For my family’s future, your help is essential. I am deeply concerned about my children.
The money you contribute will: Cover the enormous costs of safe passage to Egypt. The vast majority of the money will be used for this purpose.
Provide temporary housing for the family in Egypt while the best way forward is determined for them.
Cover some of their initial living expenses while they are in Egypt. We hope to provide them with at least two months’ worth of money. They need time and space to breathe after being gassed during this genocide
Once all of this is done, additional funds will be used to help me move past my current situation so that I can provide more support to my family. I have taken on the responsibility of caring for them during this critical and uncertain time and into the future.

mohiy's older sister fidaa @fidaa-family2 and i talk frequently and i consider her a dear friend. she was just telling me how close mohiy is to her and how amazing of a brother he is. right now they are separated and he has poor internet service, and is getting shadowbanned by tumblr, so he cant post very much.
in light of this, please share and donate to his campaign and get it some traction. mohiy is only 23 years old and has already witnessed so much destruction and devastation. he had just graduate college and hoped to work, travel, and experience life, but has spent nearly the past year struggling to survive and take care of his family, including his mother who suffers from chronic illness. currently mohiy is also sick and theres very little medical treatment available.

I wish they give us the blueprints of Casita. We have that video of the exterior, that's cool, but I'm super curious about what we never saw in the movie.
Is the purple structure on top of Isabela's room part of Luisa's or Isa's? Where is the famous one-bathroom-for-12-people? Does Julieta has stairs in her room?? Because the tower of Bruno has two colors and I imagine the blue part is her, does she live in the third floor then? And my personal obsesion: how does the "in the walls" work?
I have two enemies when I try to answer the last one:
This is a movie. If they want the part of Mirabel running after Bruno to be long and dramatic they can do whatever they want. I don't think any kid is losing sleep thinking about this, it's only me.
Casita is a magical house. The rooms are bigger on the inside. The walls can do whatever. But, do the rooms exist inside the house or are they like in a different space/plane? We saw Isabela in her balcony, so I guess the rooms have real walls. Then Dolores and Camilo have access to their own balconies.
And that bit is important because the first part when Mirabel found Bruno, they go to the right....... To where??
After that... There are some turns, but I want to believe that they are going to Pepa's room, I mean, we have the little scene in her room (I'm 99% sure that Jared Bush said it's her own room). But they gain height in the first turn, so I think that when we see them going down... Maybe they were in the second floor of Pepa's room? And then Mirabel collides with her wall. Ok, there are in that part of Casita.
But the rest........... Oh, god. Where are they??
From the height of the hole, I imagine that they have reached the first floor (ground floor?) and Bruno falls into the foundations part, I guess??
When they are talking about the cracks, yeah, that's definitely the first floor, the ceiling is very high. But. The corridor is wider than before?? That's a lot of space.
And then we have his little room. How do they go to there?
Thinking about when Casita is falling, there is a corridor in the right side of the house, right? The exterior wall is not exactly like the video they showed us, but Mirabel looks there. He was under his tower, in the first floor.
And I thought that maybe that the path to his little room, but the kitchen is in between the two places. And we saw that the windows, the door, everything can be opened. And to his left is the front door, he can't have a corridor there.
"Maybe he has stairs outside his room, in the little space there" I thought. But in the second floor there is a balcony there.
How. Please, animators explain!!!!
Quick Cleanup
The first piece of many to come from me featuring the ever-charming Bruno Madrigal. Concept was inspired from the lovely @alabasterpickles, we had this silly idea of all his rats taking the liberty of cinderella-pampering him. He probably forgets to take care of himself sometimes after being isolated for so long, so I like to think that Antonio may tell his rats to help out with it or remind him to. :]
These are valid fucking questions and I myself have some more:
- how is mirabel room after Casita was rebuilt ? Is Casita bigger ?
- how did Dolores gift came back, is it the same or is it lower ? Can she actually control it now ?
- can they go out of town ? Like through a way in the mountains or something?
- do any of them has friends ? And how did they reacted when they saw the change of character of them ? Especially for Isabella, I wonder
- also HOW ARE THEIR DAMN ROOMS JARED
- did Mirabel get bully by others ? Except for her sister and abuela 💀 if so, did Luisa and Camilo know ? Did they do something ? I ask for them because I'm convinced they deeply cared for Mira from the start, since Milo and her shared the same room and Luisa showed that she cared, and yknow, Lola being a bit quiet herself probably didn't do much and Isa didn't seem to care much about Mira, except maybe the first years until abuela came in.
- since Mirabel play the accordion and Dolores was supposed to play guitar and piano, do the other kids play any instruments ?
- did any one out of the Madrigal was actually happy to see my poor guy Bruno ? 😭
Another strange moment, this time with arts. I mean, why Mirabel is being drawn in her ceremony dress before/after ceremony! Guys, they only wear it for the night! We've seen Antonio in The Family Madrigal wearing his casual/colorful outfit! White is meant for the party!
