In case, despite the content of my blog, there was any doubt, I would like to state that I am against every kind of abuse whether it is individual or institutional.
I support Black Lives Matter. The abuse, disenfranchisement, and murder of black people at the hands of the police and other institutions has been systematic and widespread. It needs to end. And Canada, if you think you can feel superior because "it's not like that here," your ignorance is only overshadowed by how wrong you are.
There are people with better and more things to say on the subject, so I'm going to do what most of us should do and listen.
Bringing to light a very important issue. The Nigerian government is trying to silence youths protesting against the dismissal of a violent police branch called SARS.
They target innocent youths and take forced bribes, search their phones illegally, kill, rape and detain them. Please signal boost and spread awareness.
John Boyega is the only internal celeb bringing awareness to this. This is oppression and it needs to end.
Join the EndSARS tag on Twitter. There are so many painful stories of what people endure under them. They target you if you have a phone, search it illegally and confiscate laptops and electronics without just cause. Last week, they killed an innocent man and stole his car.

Journalist and artist Shirin Barghi has created a gripping, thought-provoking series of graphics that not only examines racial prejudice in today’s America, but also captures the sense of humanity that often gets lost in news coverage. Titled “Last Words,” the graphics illustrate the last recorded words by Brown and other young black people — Trayvon Martin, Oscar Grant and others — who have been killed by police in recent years.
