if you can, share or donate to the official fund for george floyd’s 6 year old daughter. it was organized by the family’s legal team and shared by his best friend, so it’s legitimate. the least we can do is make sure his baby is set for life.

because I am obligated to post about current events I just want to say
remember when this shit happened in 2016 and the backlash was trump and other reactionaries coming to power across the globe
now apply the definition of insanity. the question isn’t if we’ll end up fucked but by how much, especially with a newer conservative generation ready to please their elders to make up for our “failure”
tribalism will prevail as human nature usually does. don’t act like what’s happening now isn’t anything but defiance of our hard wired behavior, and that the only thing that has ever toppled powerful reactionaries was other powerful reactionaries
and that’s all I got to say about that
every time a person is killed for the crime of being black, as a black person i feel like a part of me dies with them. it’s like i knew them personally and i mourn another family member every week. it’s terrifying that it’ll always be possible that i could be joining them next and that i’m just supposed to go about my day like my brothers and sisters aren’t being killed all around me

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
for people who are unaware of why the riots in minneapolis started happening, here’s the facts:
it wasn’t george floyd’s protesters who started reacting violently; it was the cops.
the protest was peaceful until the cops showed up in riot gear, and started using water cannons, followed up by tear gas and rubber bullets. i got videos from friends who were there, of people screaming and running away from the cops shooting the water cannons, rubber bullets and throwing tear gas at them. they were even shooting at the protesters dragging people away to get medical attention.
speaking of medical attention, dispatch refused to provide any medical attention to the protesters. people literally had to drive their bleeding friends to the hospital because they refused to send ambulances.
cops are using non-lethal weapons in a lethal way. they shot rubber bullets into people’s heads and injured them. there’s dozens of photos of protesters with bleeding head wounds from the rubber bullets.
multiple people used police scanners and heard that there were undercover cops pretending to be violent protesters who were throwing rocks and whatnot at the police, with dozens of eyewitness accounts confirming that information.
the person who instigated all the chaos last night (it was a fire at an autozone) with the looting and burning buildings is highly suspected to be an undercover cop pretending to be a protester, because the video of him keeps getting taken down. protesters tried to stop him but couldn’t because he had a hammer and they were scared for their safety.
the cops jammed cell phone towers and cut live streams to interrupt broadcasts and to prevent people from seeing what was really going on and who actually started the violence.
the cops lied about protesters being armed and about throwing rocks and are literally trying to continue the violence happening and yet no one is holding them accountable for that.
and during all this, the cop that murdered george floyd still hasn’t been arrested. he has had more than ten complaints filed against him and was involved in three other civilian shootings in the past. and yet he’s still out free along with his three other buddies involved, probably sitting on his couch while all this chaos is happening.
so don’t get it twisted. the cops just want to change the narrative to make it look like they’re the wounded and righteous party, when they’re the ones who started reacting violently in the first place and are still acting violently. so don’t you ever forget who started this tragedy and murdered someone, and who are continuing to react to the situation with violence.
In regards to recent events
If you are against the Black Lives Matter movement, protests, ACAB or if you support All Lives or Blue Lives Matter then unfollow me. As a black artist, I stand by the people who are risking their lives so my people aren't in danger just for existing. BLM has and always will have my support and if you don't agree then I do not want to see you.
If you are able to, support bail funds, black-run organizations, and spread awareness. This applies twofold if you're not black and/or if you're LGBT+ at all, the only reason Pride is a thing is because of black-led protests and riots.

WHEN A COP GRABBED A PERSON AND TOLD THEM TO "FUCK OFF" AND THEN PUSHED THEM TO THE CURB
They will show people protesting and demanding justice and demanding what is right. But they show what is wrong.

Look at him. His name was George Floyd. He did nothing to warrant his death. His murderer was a white policeman. How anyone could do this, how anyone could murder someone like this, is beyond me. He deserved more. All black people do. This was a fucking murder, and I am shaking with rage as I write this.

TRAYVON MARTIN was walking home with an iced tea and Skittles. He was shot by George Zinneman, who was found not guilty.
KEITH SCOTT was sitting in a car, reading. He was shot by a police officer, who was not charged.
ATATIANA JEFFERSON was looking out her window, and was shot by a police officer, who is still under indictment for murder.
JONATHAN FERRELL was asking for help after an auto accident. He was shot twelve times by police, case ended in mistrial.
JORDAN EDWARDS was riding in a car and was shot in the back of the head by a police officer, who was found guilty of murder.
STEPHON CLARK was holding a cell phone, and was shot 8 times, 6 in the back. The officers were not charged.
AMADOU DIALLO while taking out his wallet, 41 shots were fired by four different officers. They were all acquitted.
RENISHA MCBRIDE after an auto accident, she knocked on someone’s door for help. The homeowner was found guilty of second-degree murder.
TAMIR RICE was playing with a toy gun, and was shot by police officer arriving on scene. Officer was not charged.
SEAN BELL was hosting a bachelor party. 50 rounds were fired by police officers who were found not guilty of charges.
WALTER SCOTT was pulled over for brake lights, and was shot in the back by a police officer who pleaded guilty to civil rights violations.
PHILANDO CASTILE was pulled over and told officer he had a legally registered weapon in car. Officer acquitted of all charges.
AIYANA JONES was sleeping and was accidentally shot by an officer in a raid on wrong apartment. Officer cleared of all charges.
TERRENCE CRUTCHER needed help when his vehicle broke down. Was shot by a police officer who was found not guilty of manslaughter.
ALTON STERLING was selling CDs, and was shot at close range while being arrested. No charges filed.
FREDDIE GRAY was beaten to death by officers while being transported in police van. All officers involved were acquitted.
JOHN CRAWFORD was shopping at WalMart, holding a BB gun that was on sale—police officer was not charged for his murder.
MICHAEL BROWN was shot twelve times by an officer, including in the back. No charges filed.
JORDAN DAVIS was killed because he was playing loud music. Shooter found guilty of first-degree murder.
SANDRA BLAND was pulled over for traffic ticket; was tasered and then arrested. Suspicious “suicide” while in jail. No charges.
BOTHAM JEAN was fatally shot in his home, which female officer ¿mistook for her own? (Which I’ll never understand.) Officer found guilty of murder.
OSCAR GRANT was handcuffed and placed face-down, officer then shot him in the back. Officer found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
COREY JONES was waiting by his car which was broken down, and was shot three times by police officer, who was found guilty of murder.
AHMAUD AUBREY was jogging. He was shot by two racist men who claimed they suspected him of burglaries. Both men were charged with murder and aggravated assault.
GEORGE FLOYD was suspected of alleged fraud. He handcuffed and pinned to the ground by an officer’s knee. He begged for mercy and he was ignored.
ERIC GARNER: Stopped for selling cigarettes on a nyc street and choked by a cop in broad daylight. Complications of the stress put on his throat by the hold caused his death; Openly said “I can’t breathe” several times and pretty much died while three other cops watched their compatriot kill a man. Eric was well known for just trying to sell goods as a side hustle and never actually hurt anybody.
DJ HENRY was fatally shot in his car by police officer Aaron Hess in the early morning hours of Oct. 17, 2010. DJ's passengers say they were doing nothing wrong when Hess ran out in front of them in the road. Hess says he only fired because he was in fear for his life. Hess later admitted to lying on multiple occasions after DJ’s death about the shooting.
These were all murders. They were not accidental. All of these innocent people: men, women AND children. Were murdered because they were black. Not because they were violent. Not because they were threatening, but because they were black. Something has to change. We have to MAKE a change. Black lives matter. Black men. Black women. Black children. Non-Binary blacks. Trans blacks. Every single one of their lives matter. Your friends. Your neighbors. Your teachers. Your brothers. Your sisters. We are the change.

it is despicable and utterly disgusting how people still "back the blue" after what happened to george floyd. after what happened to every other innocent black man or minority that has been assaulted or killed at the hands of a bigoted and deeply corrupt system. the police SERVE US and shouldn't be the ones that we fear, but a system that encourages impulsive combat and unwaveringly shields its precious officers makes this virtually impossible. to protest is our right. THIS IS A DEMOCRACY. we are entitled to correct this country when it clearly loses its sense of rationalism, especially if it still has yet to find the "justice" and "liberty" that fuels its pretentious and self-righteous attitude.
