Kihyun dragged Y/N to her new sleeping quarters, while she continued to cry until they reached the room. He opened the door and shoved her inside, closing the door behind him.
“I have had just about enough of your cry baby shit,” Kihyun snarled.
“I’m sorry,” Y/N said, sniffling her nose.
“You are fucking sorry,” Kihyun huffed. “I can’t believe someone like you is the daughter of Dragon.”
“I’m not his daughter,” Y/N argued.
“How stupid can you be?” Kihyun asked. “Why would he go through so much trouble to protect you if you weren’t his actual daughter?”
“I don’t have an answer for that,” Y/N sighed. “I wish I did though.”
“I’m done with this stupidity,” Kihyun snarled, plopping down on his bed. “Now get dressed into your pajamas because we’re not going anywhere else tonight.”
“None of my stuff is in here,” Y/N stated.
“Your father took care of that for you, he got you more appropriate clothing than that garbage you’re used to wearing,” Kihyun laughed. “You’re really lucky to have such a loving dad.”
“I don’t want anything from him,” Y/N declared, turning around to walk out of the room.
Kihyun appeared behind Y/N before she had time to open the door. He swung her around, pinning her back against the door.
“I suggest you stop fighting,” Kihyun snarled. “Or this is gonna be a really hard life for you.”
“Kihyun let me go,” Y/N demanded.
Kihyun moved his face an inch from hers and smirked devilishly before running his tongue from her chin to her eye. “You’re in no position to be making demands.”
“Why are you doing this?” Y/N cried. “I thought you were supposed to be protecting me.”
“I am but I’m hungry,” Kihyun smirked, moving Y/N’s hair off of her neck. “And besides, I wanna find out what royal blood tastes like.”
“Please don’t do this,” Y/N begged.
“Yes, beg some more,” Kihyun smirked.
Y/N stared at him with utter disgust, unable to believe that this is who was entrusted to keep her safe.
“Don’t worry princess, it’s not like I’m going to kill you,” Kihyun explained, moving her onto the bed. He crawled on top of her still in control of the situation as his fangs became exposed and his eyes turned to a shade of green. “I just want a taste.”
“Your eyes,” Y/N gasped.
“What about them?” Kihyun asked.
“They’re green,” she gasped.
“Yea and?” Kihyun huffed.
“Why are they green? I thought vampires’ eyes turned black,” Y/N stated.
“Oh my god you’re so fucking stupid,” Kihyun growled. “I’m a hybrid not a fucking vampire.”
He leaned down, puncturing the skin on Y/N’s neck with his fangs, drawing her blood into his mouth. She could see smoke coming out from his mouth, the sound of sizzling overtook the sounds of silence in the room. But Kihyun didn’t seem to be phased.
“Mmmm,” Kihyun moaned as he continued drinking her blood.
The feeling was a strange euphoric sensation, sending shivers throughout her body. “Please. Stop,” she begged.
Kihyun pulled away for a moment, to gaze deep into her eyes. As smoke poured out of his mouth he said, “you taste like heaven.”
“Isn’t my blood burning you?” Y/N wondered.
“That’s part of the pleasure,” Kihyun smirked, biting down on the other side of her neck.
Y/N realized her fate was in his hands and there was nothing she could do to stop this from happening. She closed her eyes, slowly losing consciousness.
“Y/N,” a woman’s voice sounded out.
She sat up, looking around, realizing she was no longer in her new bedroom. She was in the middle of a forest, surrounded by huge trees, the only light was the almost full moon above the forest canopy. She was dressed in pajamas but had no shoes on her feet.
“How did I get here?” she said to herself.
“Y/N,” the woman called out again.
“Who’s there?” Y/N asked, looking around.
A white figure started coming towards Y/N through the trees. It was a beautiful woman who had an almost majestic glow around her.
“Y/N,” the woman smiled. “I’m so glad we finally have the chance to meet.”
“Who are you?” Y/N wondered.
“That’s not important,” she smiled, comfortingly.
“How did I get here?” Y/N asked.
“I brought you here.”
“But why?” Y/N wondered.
“You are in grave danger,” the woman stated. “You cannot trust Jiyong. He’s an awful beast and will destroy you just as quickly as he is willing to destroy everything else in his life.”
“I don’t trust him,” Y/N said, shaking her head no.
“You’re more powerful than you know,” the woman continued. “You need to focus on your natural abilities and learn to harness the powers of your ancestors.”
“How do I do that?” Y/N asked.
“You know plenty of witches that will be able to help with the process,” the woman smiled. “Then after you find your full strength, you must die at the hands of a vampire.”
“What?!” Y/N gasped.
“It’s the only way to stop him,” the woman explained.
“I have to die in order to stop him?” Y/N repeated, still unable to comprehend the full extent of what the lady was implying.
“That’s right,” the woman nodded. “It’s the only way.”
“But,” Y/N started.
“BUT NOTHING,” she yelled.
Y/N exhaled deeply sitting up, no longer in the magical feeling forest. She looked around, realizing she was somehow sitting in the middle of the witch’s sanctuary.
“Did you have a good slumber?” Taehyun asked who was sitting on a bench, smiling widely at her.
“Taehyun?” Y/N gasped. “How did I get here?”
“I’m assuming you had a visit from her,” Taehyun sighed, ignoring her questions.
“Who is she?” Y/N wondered.
“I’m assuming you met the original witch,” Taehyun said, sitting up.
“The original witch?” Y/N repeated. “What does she want with me?”
“I don’t know,” Taehyun said. “But whatever it is, it must be important. She doesn’t come to see just anyone.”
“She said I have to die,” Y/N whispered.
“That can’t be,” Taehyun denied.
“That’s what she said,” Y/N insisted. “She said it was the only way to stop him.”
“To stop who?” Taehyun wondered.
“My father,” Y/N said, looking down at the floor.
“Y/N,” Yeonjun yelled, running into the sanctuary.
Y/N looked up, smiling widely when she saw Yeonjun. She stood up and ran to him, wrapping her arms tightly around him.
“I’m so happy you’re here,” Y/N gasped, feeling her face getting warm.
Yeonjun pulled away so he could look into her eyes, “I’ll always be here for you.”
Y/N instinctively pressed her lips against Yeonjun’s, feeling electricity throughout her body. This moment was the first time she felt safe since she came to this school.
“Would you two get a room already,” Taehyun groaned, rolling his eyes.
Y/N pulled away, laying her head onto Yeonjun’s chest, refusing to let go of him.
“Please just hold me a little longer,” Y/N whispered.
“I’ll never let go,” Yeonjun said, kissing the top of her head.
“Y/N,” a man yelled from outside of the sanctuary, “come out now before I burn this shit to the ground.”
