Y'know, I was at denial for a while at the beginning (like, hunting palismanor something). I was like:
"Oh, Hunter is a child-soldier, most of his scars could possibly be from training, or fighting. Maybe we're wrong, maybe Belos didnt even give him... most of the scars-"
But then, I realized - he got hurt multiple times in the main episodes he appeared, but none scarred him. It's also very likely that Kikimora's murder attempts are pretty common thing for him, so those don't scar him either.
He seems to be a pretty good fighter, doubt that training would harm him that much if he doesnt even get seriously hurt in real fights.
So Belos gives him "warning shots", sure, and maybe he gave him all of the scars for all we know, but he might not actually wan t to harm him, it could be an accident---

THIS WAS NOT A FUCKING ACCIDENT, OR A "WARNING", THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO MARK HIM.
AND WE KNOW THIS WAS DEFINITELY BELOS. Hunter doesnt even move when Belos goes for his neck, he flinches, sure, but those are just instincts, right after that he went still, ready to accept his punishment. Belos is the only one capable of scarring this motherfucker, and after I noticed that, I got out of denial fairly quickly.
Belos needs to back the fuck off before I go ham on his greasy fucking hair, I will defeat this tyrant with my bare fucking hands.
