Caleb: My life isn’t as glamorous as my wanted poster makes it look like.

Molly: You think I really give a fuck? I can’t even read.

*The M9 is having dinner together* Caleb: Molly, can you pass the salt? Molly: *Throws Beau across the table*

Caleb: Don’t worry, I know exactly what I’m doing. Everything is going to be fine! Molly: How can you still say that? Caleb: Because sometimes, when things get tough, denial is all we have.

Caleb: This is bothering me. Molly: Well, you are digging up a corpse. Caleb: No, not that. That's, uh, pretty par for the course, actually.

Caleb: Look. I may not be a saint, but it's not like I’ve killed anybody. I’m not an arsonist. I’ve never found a wallet outside of an IHOP and thought about returning it but saw the owner lived out of state so just took the cash and dropped the wallet back on the ground. Fjord: Okay, that's really specific, and that makes me think that you definitely did do that.  (He did; in fact, do all three)

Caleb: I slept for almost 12 hours but I might still be tired so lets go for 12 more just incase. Caduceus:  Caleb, that's a coma. Caleb: Sounds festive.

Caleb: I'm a reverse necromancer. Jester: Isn't that just killing people? Caleb: Ah, technicality.

If i was smarter than i currently am, i would write a long and thoughtful passage about parallels between Caduceus and Fjord, the weight of responsibility on their shoulders, placed there from a very young age, about family (Via blood and otherwise) and its importance, involuntary loneliness and enduring hardship all by yourself, concluding with the fact that they discovered kinship and family within each other which is really no surprise after all. But sadly, i'm not, so for now i'm gonna lament amazing dynamic that they had, which seems to be lost and forgotten by most in favour of other more romance leaning relationships. A shame, really. Will always be one of my favourites, this one.
