Today is Easter and tomorrow is April Fools Day. How did the second best and second worst holidays get put together like this?
Speaking of which, I hope you had a good Norther - um, Easter (I always get those mixed up) - and that it was filled with candy and bunnies. Not the other stuff that the holiday's actually about, though. That doesn't exist, right? Right?
Also, good luck keeping on your toes tomorrow from unexpected pranks. Always check the top of your salt shaker to make sure it isn't unscrewed. And make sure to Google a site and get a site preview when going in to make sure they didn't do something dumb.
Now that Mars has entered Aries, people are going to have heightened energy. Many people are going to get out this energy by literally getting out of the house. Mars is action, Aries is selfishness. So people are more inclined to act on selfish desires and selfish impulses right now. Aries likes to take risks. Aries likes to react in the moment, taking what it wants and dealing with the consequences later.
Obviously with the pandemic, people still need to use caution. There is no point in taking unnecessary risks just for you to feel good in the present moment. Our actions need to reflect our long term goals, something that Aries is not very good at.
My advice is don’t ignore your heightened energy right now because it will eat you alive. When you ignore your energetic impulses, it only leads to you doing something stupid later, like going out to a large gathering or getting out of the house way more than necessary.
Figure out a way to act on your energy and get that energy out, in a way that does not endanger you or anyone else. Find a new activity that is just for you. Aries is all about the self, so find a way to get out that energy alone, instead of in a group of people.
Jupiter conjunct Saturn December 21st 2020
Jupiter will conjunct Saturn on December 21st 2020 at 0 degrees Aquarius. This conjunct occurs every 19-20 years. It is referred to as the great conjunction. This is a astrological event that has garnered a lot of media attention. Largley because of how close they will be to our vantage point. They will be visible in the south western sky without a telescope, best about 1-2 hours after the sunset.
We find ourselves balancing the need to reform and grow on a larger scale. What needs to dissolve and what needs abundance? This is essentially a way to re balance humanity karmically and for the betterment of all. What needs to be broken down to advance society and what needs to expand? We have the ability to look forward and be progressive. We have been building to this shift all year as we started 2020 with a Saturn/Pluto conjunct in Capricorn. These major generational conjuncts don’t happen often and this year was not typical. It had a lot of shifting and pain and discomfort. Growing pains. Learning how to connect in other ways. How can we be better? Major ingrained systems have been assessed. Lots had to go. Lots had to be changed to better society and how things have been going. It took a major shift to look at life differently. This conjunct is really about the betterment of humanity and how things need to be re balanced. What collectively are our priorities? And have they changed, do they need to change. What are our hopes and wishes and how do we evolve together. You will notice these themes continue on while Jupiter and Saturn are both in Aquarius. There may be unexpected events occur because of the square to Uranus. The fact that this is occuring on the Winter solstice means that we will have lots of time to process this and think on it. The darkness comes so that we can see the light and restore. Re envision.

This transit can help us focus on freedom and establish boundaries in relationships. Reflect on your personal relationships. Are they tying you down in a way you that’s not good for you?

February 2021 Happenings! ✨
February we are still processing all the shifts that December and January brought. There may be some frustration in the 1st week. Has to do with not being able to get where you want to as quickly as you want to. Also Mercury is still retrograde so we are still feeling that disconnect and the frustrations that it brings. But communication will get better. And ultimately February brings us some good things. An Aquarius stellium and Jupiter/Venus conjunct. We are looking towards the future and how it can be better. How we can be better.
February 1st: Venus moves into Aquarius-requiring freedom of expression and how we show love and what we appreciate, all things unique and being true to yourself.
February 11th: New Moon in Aquarius-hopes and dreams and wishes that have the ability to find their way. Appreciation of love.
February 17th: Saturn square Uranus-need to change, tension between old ways of doing things and new ways. This aspect is a major one and effects will be felt in waves most of the year.
February 18th: Sun moves into Pisces-ending the astrological year, a time of reflection, creativity, compassion and a time to let go.
February 20th: Mercury goes direct! communication moves forward, we are able to adjust what we have learned during the retrograde.
February 25th: Venus moves into pisces-increasing imagination and communicating on a more intuitive and spiritual level.
February 27th: Full Moon in Virgo-finding purpose in being free. Balancing self care with others care. Taking care of the mind, body and spirit. A very positive full moon with lots of room for opportunity.
✨ Pisces Season ✨
We are now entering into Pisces season. Pisces is the last zodiac sign, so this marks the time of closure. It is now time to close the cycle and tie any loose ends.
Pisces is a sign deeply connected to the spiritual, therefore now is an amazing time to work on your own spirituality and dwell deeper into the subconscious. Listening to your intuition is always important, but this season gives us the opportunity to strengthen our intuition even more.
Pisces is mutable, which makes the energy super adaptable and free-moving. I recommend learning how to adapt to any situations, be flexible and most importantly go with the flow as much as you can. This can be difficult if you are ruled by fixed or cardinal signs, but in moments like these, borrowing Pisces’ ability to go with the current can be very beneficial.
Like I mentioned before, always listen to your intuition and especially make note of your dreams during Pisces season! Your dreams could be conveying significant messages, so write them down as soon as you wake up and make a habit of this, if you haven’t already.
Let your creativity flow. Pisces is known for being creative, so let yourself be inspired by the energy and use it to create anything that makes you happy. Dream big, let your imagination take over! Make your daily life more fun and interesting by giving yourself some time to daydream.
And most importantly, just like I mentioned at the beginning, close the cycle. Make amends and let go. Acknowledge what no longer has a place in your life and leave it in the past. Forgive yourself and others, if it is going to bring you peace and move on.
