Yes I know Trent's "dad" was a cop and we get a voiceover from him but you know what Ward had a grandmother he liked so it stands to reason he might've had an "Uncle Trent" on his mother's side who was willing to help him out and pass him off as his son and that speech could've been at some retirement party

Am I reaching? Yeah probably. Do I care? Absolutely not. Trent is Ward and you can pry this headcanon from my cold dead hands

So Trent knows Gabi is lying to him and keeping secrets, he's starting to put the pieces together to know there's something up with Sir, and he's still backing Gabi and supporting her the whole way and even falling for her despite knowing there's lies and secrets being kept from him?
