I went to my grandma’s house for New Year’s Eve and, because I’m not very close with this family, 9 times out of 10, I end up sitting in the corner with my phone or a sketchbook and keep my headphones on. But my aunt, for a reason I will never know, but will forever be grateful for, turned to me and asked, “Hey, have you ever seen Everything Everywhere All at Once?” (My favorite film of all time). Somehow, deep down, I think she knew was she was doing, because I talked more than I ever have at that house because she was actively engaging with me in a conversation about my favorite movie. I got to share all my fun facts and we got to talk about our favorite scenes and how amazing it was getting awards. I genuinely thought most of the people there forgot about my existence, but for some reason, she thought to ask her quiet, autistic nephew about one movie and we actually had a long and enaging conversation about it.
This is a little bit of a silly post, but I wanted to share. I spent almost four hours infodumping about the adventure zone to my sister last night and I don’t think she realizes just how much that meant to me. Like I went to bed giggly and so happy that I got to just talk about it with someone and share all this information about the show. And even though she didn’t really understand it she was genuinely engaged, asked me questions and let me show her animatics and stuff and just…gosh it was so fun. I love love love listening to my friends talk about the stuff that they enjoy I really do, but I haven’t been on the other end of that for a while and it felt so good!
Hello!! May I have favorite music types for your Scrybe and her mini bosses?? I love music and really enjoy seeing what types of music my friends enjoy and relate to!!
@scrybeofchance
Juno: "Favorite music?..For me I suppose it would have to be classical preferably something with piano or violin in it. Although I do enjoy whatever music Magnificus plays in his tower as well. "
Berard: "I quite enjoy folk music, it reminds me of the songs I use to sing with fellow knights n taverns when we weren't on shift. That or the occasional shanty from time to time."
Alder: "Does ambience count as music? I quite prefer listening to the sounds of nature than music, however I do enjoy folk or even celtic music from time to time"
Eira: "..Hmmm.."
Juno: "Something wrong Eira?"
Eira: "No my lady just thinking...I suppose for me I enjoy ambience music like Mr Alder, however classical or orchestral pieces suit me just fine to. So long as it is something I can hum to and isn't too noisy I will give it a listen."
