it makes me so fucking angry. Why do palestinians trying to escape genocide have to ask how you are. Why do they have to apologize for sending asks. Why must every message stast with saying they wish the reader well, they they hope you're doing okay, that they're so sorry to bother you. Do these people have to act nice and sweet for anyone to care? Do they have to make sure you're doing well before they have the right to ask for anything? Its horrific.
Hi, for five months I've been trying to find a friend to create a campaign for me. I was even able to create a campaign through my friend Brooke Cole so that the campaign would be reliable and the donation would be protected for everyone. Updates to some previously shared fundraisers
Update to Safaa's (usernames @safaa18mero and @safaamm, vetted here) fundraiser found here, was at $7,325/$75,000 as of Aug 13, 2024. It is now at $17,525/$75,000 goal as of Sep 30, 2024. Safaa has her husband, months old child, and elderly parents who all need help to evacuate.
Update for Hanaa (her family's fundraiser linked here and vetted) - Hanaa asked me to share the story of her sister-in-law Israa. Israa (@naseer220, @naseranam225) is vetted by association with Hanaa (@/hanaa987), who is vetted and on the Gaza Fundraiser List made by @/el-shab-hussein and @/nabulsi on tumblr. Link to Israa's fundraiser here. £6,171/£20,000 goal. Israa has two young children and a sick elderly father, and her husband is missing for over 8 months after being kidnapped by the occupation. Israa's father and children need urgent medical care.
