Kitsune boys when you're sick headcanons:
Aki
Would fret like crazy
Anytime you tried to argue that you were fine, he'd cut you off immediately
"You are not fine. You need to rest bunny."
This is probably the most responsible you've ever seen him.
He may not know how to cook, but he can heat up a can of Progresso in a microwave.
He doesn't like leaving you home alone for more than a second, but he does to get you medicine and other things to help make you feel better.
"I wasn't sure if liquid medicine or pill medicine was better, so I just got both. I also got some cough drops, some kleenex with lotion in it, some tea, and a stuffy because it made me think of you."
Despite knowing he might get sick too, he constantly cuddled with you and gave you kisses.
Safe to say the following week, you were taking care of him.
Haru
Is much calmer than Aki
Doesn't bother arguing with you. Just picks you up and gently lays you in bed.
"Just rest, sweetheart. You don't have to worry about a thing."
This man knows his way around the kitchen. Nothing but 5 star meals for his s/o.
Is also not the biggest fan of leaving you home along sick, but he's much better at keeping a calm exterior.
"I got you pill medicine because I know how much you hate the liquid stuff and some elderberry tea."
As much as it pains him to not cuddle you, he knows better and resists the urge. He can't help but constantly kiss you on to forehead, tho.
"I hope you feel better real soon so I can go back to wrapping my arms around that beautiful body of yours."
He loves brushing your hair out of your face as he watches his beautiful darling sleep.
Fuyu
Immediately, is worried out of his mind. He tries to hide it, but it definitely shows.
"How could I have let my love get sick? Do you have a fever? What if you begin to feel lightheaded? You must rest at once."
You don't even get a chance to argue. You can't even utter a word of protest before he cuts you off.
Fuyu is no slouch in the kitchen either. He's a little out of practice, sure, but besides a few messes along the way, he can make some stunning cuisine.
Has a whole argument with himself on whether you'll be fine alone while he gets medicine or if he needs to stay before finally going out the door.
"I got you the liquid medicine, I know you don't like it, but it'll make you feel better faster, menthol cough drops, and a selection of herbal teas."
He almost never leaves your side. He even sleeps with his head resting on the side of the bed.
He'll often put his hand on your cheek and reminds you how much he loves you and that he'll never leave your side.

Fuyu sat at the open door, looking wistfully out at the sky, as a breeze blew through.
You had been away for just two days on business, and the whole time he had truly felt your absence.
On the first morning he awoke without you laying next to him he was almost certain, he was going to cry. And going back to bed that night alone left him just as restless.
He had been used to a lonely home and an empty bed. Years of solitude had made him accustomed to the somber feeling of isolation. Before you, he would've shrugged it off as for the best. A pain worth feeling for the duty he must see through. He would've bared it all with an expressionless face and a stone cold will.
But that was before you. Back before he tried living again. Back before he started to truly feel like himself again. And now that he was here, that he was himself again, that he finally found respite from the grief and solace--
he couldn't stand it.
He had missed you before. Had seen you depart plenty of times. But somehow now, it was different.
More hallow. More Sorrowful. More painfully, achingly lonely.
It this what people meant when they say something 'hits different'?
Hm, perhaps. But no matter to him right now. He's too busy being consumed by his sorrows.
Wallowing in his deep regrets...
Mourning all his mistakes and the time they had wasted...
As he continued to stare listlessly at the open sky, watching the clouds roll past and hearing the rustle of the trees as the cup of tea he held warmed his hands-- he felt so empty. So very very empty...
'This softened heart of mine...' he thought, 'it's so much more tender... so easily pained... what a pitiful beast I've become...'
As he let out a sigh and took a sip of his tea, he suddenly heard the front door open.
In a flash he was on his feet and making his way to it.
"Fuyu--" he heard your voice as he approached and he felt his heart leaping, "I'm hom-- oh! There he is!"
You were setting your bags down but the moment your eyes met his face you beamed. And in that moment Fuyu felt his heart warm and ache all at once. Just seeing you home felt like such a comfort, and all you were doing was setting down your things...
"God you're a sight for sore eyes. You would not believe the--" You paused your small talk as you looked back up at him, "Fuyu? What's wrong?" suddenly your face was painted with concern and Fuyu snapped into self awareness.
He had been frozen at the sight of you. Overcome with a sense of relief, and his eyes were beginning to water. He hadn't noticed, until he saw your smile, how uneasy and deary his mind had become. His relapse into loneliness had had him spiraling into sorrow.
He was still processing his state he looked towards you, and your expression turned sympathetic, as you spread your arms wide.
"Come here Love." Your voice was like a song and two arms had never looked so welcoming. He practically stumbled forward, landing on his knees before you, your arms wrapping warm around him as he barred his face in your chest.
He clung to you like a frightened child. He had never been so vulnerable around another person. And you were responding with a loving kindness he did not deserve.
You let out a soft laugh as you asked,
"Did you miss me?"
You were joking a bit, but his response from coming from his very soul.
"Yes." He said, holding you tighter.
You laughed again, sweet and sympathetic. Then you held him tighter too, and you felt so warm and real.
"I missed you too."
You two stood there like that for a moment, basking in the warmth of each other's arms. Then Fuyu felt a gentle hand pet his hair,
"How about I go make us some tea, and you can rest your head on my shoulders as you tell me all about it, Love?"
Fuyu's hands gripped you lightly,
"N-not yet... I..." he nuzzled his face into your stomach, "I need another moment... Just a bit longer..."
You smiled, kissed the top of his head, and held him once more.
"Of course dearest."
Imagine being in a tickle fight with all the kitsunes 😭
Aki:
He's very playful, so he loves a good tickle fight.
Either one of you is very likely to initiate one
When he does, it's usually a surprise attack
"Surprise! I got you!"
He's absolutely having the time of his life
"Hahahahaha! I'll get you back, bunny!"
Loves to try and and trick you to get the upper hand
"Oh, look at that! Tricked ya! Haha! Time for a counterattack!"
He knows all your weak spots
Unfortunately for him, you know all of his too
"Hahahahaha! That's too much, bunny! Hahahahahaha!"
He's usually the loser, but he doesn't mind
He's just happy to play with his s/o
Haru:
He loves to tease you with tickles all the time.
And he likes it when you tease him right back.
"Oh~! So that's the way you wanna play~."

So ofc he loves it when this teasing devolves into a tickle fight.
He often will throw in a few kisses and nibbles into the fight.
Haru isn't overly ticklish, but he does have his weak spots which you know by heart.
Even if you miss his weak spots he'll still play along.
He thinks tickle fights are sexy.
He'll pin you down, and while you're a laughing mess, he'll leave you with a few hickeys.
And after awhile the tickle fight will turn into a make-out session.
He just can't help himself when you have lips that delicious.
Fuyu:
When you first met Fuyu, he hated any tickling.
He thought it was a "kit's game."
But now he seems to have warmed up to it.
When you tease him with a tickle, you can see a glint of mischief in his eyes.
"So it's a tickle fight you want? Then, a tickle you shall get!"
This man has memorized all of your weak spots.
You don't even have a chance to counterattack.
He does make sure to give you chances to breath ofc.
He doesn't want to hurt his love.
But he also won't stop until you admit defeat.
Once you do, he gives you a kiss and whispers in your ear
"Maybe now you'll think twice about challenging me." He says in a playful tone.

the KING of pretending he's not jealous while DEFINITELY WEARING IT ON HIS SHOULDER lol
it triggers a downward spiral of pride and insecurities
he both simultaneously knows he is a catch and also knows he is a bore/brute
worries and frets about the attention you were giving others
doesn't bring it up till you ask but also doesn't make it subtle that he's in a huff
pretends not to care or notice the attention he believes you were LAVISHING on the other party but it's so obvious it's eating away at him
but just as easily as he is made huffy, he is also soothed
a few kisses, a few words and acts of affection and he is putty in your hands once more
until his jealously is struck up again
he's ego is so fragile and his belief that he deserves your love so shaky that frankly the jealous gambit is a semi-normal part of your relationship
he doesn't necessarily put A Whole Show On about it every time but he does get quietly jealous fairly easily and will need to be reassured some what frequently
all while stubbornly holding to that he is not jealous and does not need to be coo'ed and coddled like a fussy child but also he's waiting for his kisses in he most pouty fashion imaginably while also denying that he's even doing so
such an ancient child this one can be...
