Notes From the writer: Thanks to an anon on Tumblr, I began to come up with this Beetlejuice inspired AU that is going to be 20 chapters long. This will be loosely based on Beetlejuice, but with more of my own original ideas along with some great stuff anons on Tumblr sent me! Alastor is ages 13-15 in this AU like Lydia is in Beetlejuice the musical and there may be some rating changes depending if I should make it change

honestly? yeah this works. i think 'that beautiful sound' would fit them a lot better though, if we're going from bj musical (ohhh that acronym.... :/) songs lol

the duet lydia and beetlejuice do there is sooo funny its such a radiostatic song to me tbh. bj! alastor is fun to imagine for me though, so this is definitely an idea that will go on my backburner hehe

I see your royalty radiostatic au suggestion and raise you this: au where Vox’s a prince and Alastor’s the pilot that has to escort him across the country to where his arrange marriage awaits but they slowly fall in love over the journey

i have a great aversion to planes in general but this sounds fun :) ive no idea how it would play out, of course, but i like the idea of like, royalty x their reluctant transporter and a budding friendship / whirlwind relationship destined to end in tragedy. this is fun ! i like this!
