I took so long writing this may as well post it here after like a year of inactivity
Hazbin Hotel Voxval analysis (I am probably mischaracterizing and misinterpreting some stuff but, oh well) :
Listen I think Vox is a toxic and manipulative asshole as well, but the fact of the matter is that as far as we've seen, he's just your typical megalomanic ultra rich ceo who embodies capitalism almost to perfection. He's seen using some psychological manipulation techniques over on Val in episode 2, but those techniques seemed like a way for him to keep Val relatively calm, to avoid him doing shit and getting hurt or worse, and it seems like the main reason why he came up to Val was because Velvette told him to because Val was disturbing her. He wanted to avoid Velvette getting more annoyed and Val getting hurt, he manipulated Val to keep them and Velvette safe.
It's seen that Val, on the other hand, seems to be both physically, psychologically and emotionally abusive, as seen in episode 4 with angel, but also in that little scene in episode 2 where he throws a whole glass at Vox, which he does totally purposefully since he asked for another drink specifically to throw it at the TV man, a bit later into the scene he also grabs Vox's phone from his hand, slaps him, seemingly pretty hard, and smashes his phone against one of the pillars. And while Vox tried to calm him down and get him to not fuck up, Valentino is actively enabling and encouraging Vox's anger and annoyance.
Also include the Angel and Vox's poison dripping mouth in Poison
Also the noncanon Instagram accounts showed than on two different occasions, Valentino had purposefully broken Vox's screen by hitting him because he wasn't satisfied with what Vox did for/to him. Those accounts have been archived since and count as non canon, but have shown a lot of truth in the way they portrayed the characters, so one could keep that in mind
Vox is also shown to get jealous, especially about Angel, notably in the scene in episode 2 in which he enthusiastically asks if Angel quit, then being disappointed when Val responds he didn't. And also during Poison, where he seems disgruntled to see Angel looking at them
Considering all of those, it seems that Val and Vox are a toxic couple to it's peak, in which each of them think they're in control, people from the outside think they're destroying each other while really only one person (Val) seems to be absolutely ruining the other mentally. Vox is probably unhealthily in love and obsessed with Valentino, to the point where he keeps his cameras on him anytime he can. But Valentino only cares about Vox a fraction of how much cares about him, because he knows he's got him wrapped around his finger when he makes him believe he's in control of their relationship. Vox would probably crawl back to Valentino anytime they have an argument, even if Vox is the one being mistreated in that argument. What Valentino seems to care about is the power and money he can get from Vox, while also considering him a sort of entertainment when he gets mad.
Sure they maybe have their lighthearted and lovey dovey moments, because Valentino is *vaguely* in love with Vox, like in the last ep, but to me and from what I've observed, Vox is not innocent, but he is still one of the victims of Valentino

I genuinely love the way you write Vox, showing off how powerful and smart and amazing his character can be! It's so refreshing after seeing some of the interpretations the fandom has for him, I love it 💖

Radiostatic reverse-verse where Alastor is the one who's obsessed with Vox. Nothing lustful or romantic about it. He's in his radio tower giggling, twirling his hair and kicking his feet, starting a new broadcast which will be dedicated to roasting Vox for the 17th time this week, from the shower gel he uses to the subpar brand of ramen noodles he ate two days in a row because he was on a time crunch for a new product release. He doesn't have his own surveillance cameras but who needs those when he can travel through shadows? Plus, TV, cell phones, radars and wifi all work thanks to radio waves. He has full access to Vox's entire empire and he sure knows how to use it for his nefarious purposes (being a shameless stalker).
He sends him silly little drawings through the mail, and charcuterie boards made with the meat of whoever annoyed Vox this week (Only HE is allowed to bully Vox). At any moment of the day Vox is at risk of turning around and finding himself face to face with Alastor staring unblinkingly at him with the creepiest smile on his face.
People tease him for acting like a kid pulling on his crush' pigtails. Vox himself propositions him so that he can "get him out of his system" and finally leave him be, and Alastor is just like. Huh. Gross?? No thanks??? This is a purely platonic unhealthy obsession, thank you very much. What type of underwear are you wearing, though?
Basically:
"What do you see in him?"
"He makes me laugh!"

Okok.. so another poll but bare with me here
You know what the ultimately irony of the Alastor-Vox dynamic is?
I’m pretty sure we’re eventually going to find out that it’s actually Alastor who is truly jealous of VOX. Because Vox actually HAS what Alastor is simply pretending to be.
See, as I’ve discussed in previous posts, at this point I think it’s a pretty safe bet that NONE of Alastor’s power is truly his, instead coming from and being bound to the ‘leash’ that he’s on. We hear from Mimzie in the same episode that Alastor somehow was ALWAYS this freakishly powerful. That whereas other Overlords had to build up their power, Alastor somehow already had all this power the moment he appeared in Hell.
Which combined with the whole ‘leash’ reveal and Alastor’s fixation on making deals makes for a pretty easily conclusion to draw: That Alastor actually cheated the system by making a deal with someone MUCH more powerful (Lilith, or someone similar), likely before he even died. And in turn, all of his power is bound TO that deal and whoever his benefactor is.
Which in turn means that literally all of the other Overlords, INCLUDING VOX, have something that Alastor doesn’t: Their power, their respect, their influence, it’s all truly theirs. While Alastor is a FRAUD.
Something that Alastor is very much aware of.
And this is the real reason why Alastor loves messing with Vox:
It’s a power-trip.
Vox, this overlord who has all the things Alastor secretly craves and is likely so jealous of, is actually jealous of him! Vox is obsessed with him, is intimidated by him, actually sees him as an equal if not better. And Alastor LOVES this attention.
Bullying Vox like he does and the attention Vox gives him in return is the ULTIMATE ego-stroking for Alastor. Because he makes Alastor feel like he really is one of these great players with the power, respect and freedom to do whatever they want.
Even though he most certainly is NOT.

The release of Hazbin Hotel has brought back my obsession with Christian Borle so f-ing intensely that I physically NEED to hear him sing live. Watching it through my computer screen is not enough anymore, I need to se a presentation of him live singing anything. Literally ANYTHING. He could be singing a bedtime lullaby and I'd still sell all my stuff to buy a ticket to that show. His voice is literally so ANGELIC. Not only that, he managed to make me feel atracted to a FREAKING TV.
