Kaeya started to give the young knight suggestive glances early on in their acquaintanceship, trying to use his charm on (Y/N) in general to wrap him around his finger. He never thought he'd develope romantic feelings for the young man.

But there they sat, at a table for two at Good Hunter. Kaeya proped up his head with his arm as he smiled at his boyfriend with half lidded eyes. (Y/N) looked up from his map and rolled his eyes when he saw the expression of the blue-haired male. "Do you need something, deary?", the (Y/HC)-haired asked, before he shifted his gaze to the paper in his hands again and drew circles around some areas.

Kaeya pouted playfully, "I mean, I didn't invite you here so you can give your attention to a piece of paper.", the Cavalry Captain grabbed the map and tugged on it slightly. (Y/N) chuckled, "Are you jealous?", he asked, raising a brow as he glanced up at Kaeya.

"Me? Jealous? Of paper? Don't be ridiculous, sweetheart.", the blue-haired male leaned back into his chair and laid an arm on the backrest, left his other hand on the table, "I merely hoped to have those (Y/EC) eyes on me."

The honorary knight let out a short laugh as he folded up his map. He took Kaeya's hand in his, brushing his thumb over the back of his hand. "No worries. You'll have more than just my gaze on you soon enough...", he whispered, after leaning over the table a bit.

The Cavalry Captain closed his eyes and looked away, something he did when he was flustered. Kaeya didn't expect his boyfriend to say something like this, when there were so many people around that might hear him. (Y/N) smirked, satisfied with the reaction he got.

Kaeya however, wasn't satisfied at all and tried to turn the tables, "Oh? Is that so? I think before then my patience is long gone and I just take what I want." He leaned over the table too, their faces only a few centimeters away from each other.

The smirk on (Y/N)'s face grew a bit and he leaned in a bit more, his and Kaeya's lips brushed each other slightly as he purred, "Really? Are you sure you can keep your words this time? I can still remember your face from last time..."

They remained in this position for a few more seconds, a slight blush on Kaeya's cheeks, before (Y/N) leaned back into his chair as if nothing happened. The blue-haired male chuckled quietly, he seemed to loose this one, wether he wanted to believe it or not.

Diluc, who had to watch the scenario towards the end, sighed quietly when he could finally approach the couple, a list of the daily missions in his hand he was supposed to pick up for (Y/N). A few weeks ago the three of them, plus Venti, started to do the missions together and collect some resources on the way. Whenever Diluc was too busy, either Razor or Bennett filled his place.

When the red-haired man got close enough, (Y/N) noticed him and greeted him with a smile. "Hey, Diluc! Ah, thanks for picking them up. Now we just have to wait for Venti." Kaeya laughed, "That could take a while."

The honorary knight hissed, holding the arrow that is stuck in his bleeding arm. He was on his way, with Kaeya, to the cathedral to let Barbara heal him. "This goddamn archer...", he cursed under his breath, "Why are they shooting from where they stand instead of coming closer to get stuck in Ventis wind swirl thing, huh??"

The Cavalry Captain smiled, as he listened to the complaints of his boyfriend. (Y/N) didn't loose his cool very often, which is why Kaeya found this moment rather amusing. Plus, they were already walking up the stairs to the cathedrale and it took way more than an arrow in the upper arm to take (Y/N) down.

Nonetheless, Barbara let out a screech of concern when she laid her eyes on the (Y/EC)-eyed male's arm. "Oh my goodness! (Y/N)!" The young woman walked up to the couple with quick steps and places a hand hesitantly under the injury. (Y/N) wanted to calm her down, but he was still angry he got hit by a simple arrow, from a simple hilichurl. The annoyed expression on the honory knight's face concerned the idol only further.

Kaeya smiled at Barbara, "He's alright, he's just irritated over the fact our enemies don't run into our comerade's attacks.", he said with a teasing tone. (Y/N) pretended he didn't hear, but made a mental note for later.

Barbara didn't know what to reply to that statement, so she just asked Kaeya to carefully pull out the arrow so she could heal (Y/N).

With a rather loud sigh (Y/N) plopped down on his and Kaeya's bed. He crawled to his side of the bed and laid on his side, his eyes fixated on Kaeya, who was just taking off his top. A teasing smirk appeared on Kaeya's face, after he turned around and noticed the gaze of his lover, "Like what you see, my prince?", he put a hand on his hip and walked towards the bed with slow steps and sat down sideways next to the (Y/HC)-haired male, supporting himself with his arm.

"I hope you didn't forget about your promise. Otherwise I suppose I have to put my own words into practice.", he purred with half lidded eyes. (Y/N) smiled, the same expression on his face, and placed his hand on Kaeya's hip, brushed his thumb over his skin, before he pulled him closer.

"Of course I didn't forget, sugar...", he whispered and pressed a kiss on the lips of his partner, "But after that comment back there, I don't think you deserve it."

Kaeya was surprised at first, stuttered out a few words, before he caught himself. "You're so mean...", a smile reappeared on his lips, "I suppose I have to take it myself then."

(Y/N)'s grip on Kaeya's hip tightened slightly as he looked at him with a teasing grin.

"Good luck with that, pretty boy."

Headcanon: Kaeya, Tartaglia with a s/o who likes hugs

Kaeya loves the attention

He might be playing around sometimes when he's acting like an innocent prince, but he really means every word he says to you. So he appreciates a hug as a sign that you trust and love him too

Kaeya teases you, no matter if you're shy about it or not, but mostly in public

"Oh? Does my sweet little darling want a hug? How cute~"

But behind closed doors, he is just snuggling against you, maybe leaving a few pecks here and there

Tho, depending on how you act before he found out about your love for hugs, the amount of teasing changes

If you're rather cold or silent, obviously he'd tease you more than if you are more the hyper and loud type. Unless you give him cute reactions, then it doesn't matter what type you are

He looks foward to 'welcome home' hugs, really, that's exactly what he needs when he comes back after a long day of work

But, lemme warn you, he'd use your hugs to irritate Diluc

"Come here, darling. I can tell you want a hug.", Kaeya proceeds to hug you, but then turns his head to Diluc, "What's that? Is that jealousy I see in your eyes? Is Master Diluc actually jealous?"

You can punish him with not hugging him for a few days if you want- I believe that would actually hurt Diluc gsdgfsdfg

Kaeya can get pretty vulnerable when it's late at night and he's embraced by your arms, his face in the crook of your neck. So expect him to let out a tear or two

Tartaglia is surprised by every hug he gets, but can't help but chuckle and wrap his arms around you too when he realises what happened

"Woah, didn't see you there. When did you learn to sneak around like that?"

He isn't really touch starved, but he doesn't mind getting hugged every now and then. Just don't do it when he's working or around other Fatui members. He has a reputation to hold

His first thought when you hug him is actually something along the lines of: //Are they okay?//, //Did something happen to them?// And on stressful days, he immediately goes into protective mode

Tartaglia only really teases you when you hug him a lot that day and it still would be little teasing

"You're hanging on me like a koala baby. Hm, that's actually a pretty fitting nickname for you. Yes, I will call you that from now on. So, seeing as you're arms are constanly wrapped around me today anyways, how about I carry you around for a bit, little koala?"

He never really thought he is that kind of guy, but the finds your hugs pretty comforting

He loves leaning back against you, his head against your chest and your arms wrapped around his waist, while you talk about whatever

I actually feel like he can't really hold his hands still when you insist on hugging him longer than a few seconds, so he starts to fiddle with your clothes and hair

It's really cute tho

He finds it cute how much you like to give hugs, but can be a bit possessive when you give others the same amount of hugs as you give him. He wouldn't do anything and keep it to himself because he knows you love him and hugging is a normal thing to do, but he would appreciate it if you two at least had a 'special type of hug' you only do with him

Warnings: none, just really fluffy, fluffy stuff I thought of while playing the event.

“Idyia, can I borrow you for a second?” Kokomi asked, Idyia soon after following Kokomi. (_____), Paimon, Klee, and the director all chatted while Kokomi and Idyia were gone. Kokomi soon returns from behind the theater's curtain and says that Idyia has a surprise for the director. The group of four turn and look to see what the surprise is. Turns out the surprise was Kaeya dressed as the thief he played. As the others were complementing Kaeya and his outfit, Idyia and Kokomi’s work on the outfit. But (_____) was completely silent and unmoving, the only thing changing is the blush starting to form on their face and jaw slightly dropped. It looked as if their were stars in their eyes, maybe even a galaxy with how much they were looking. Klee words snapped them out of their trance by asking if her, Idyia and (_____) can go to the top of the thing they’ve been fixing. (_____) agreed and took Klee and Paimon with Idyia. After a while the three returned. Klee, Paimon and Idyia going off somewhere, leaving (_____) alone by themselves. Even though (_____) was having fun with Klee, Paimon and Idyia and also being in the moment they couldn’t help their mind wander. Wander and start thinking about Kaeya and how nicely his new outfit suited him. How they would’ve liked it to be them and Kaeya, or just the two of them snuggled up together in a Choo-Choo Cart while they peacefully ride along the track. They were so caught up in their daydreaming that they didn’t notice Kaeya had walked up to them. “Daydreaming are we? And I wonder what about.” (_____) immediately snaps out of it and jumps slightly, their head snapping up and looking Kaeya dead in the eyes. Embarrassment filling (_____)’s body as Kaeya sits down next to them. “Chuckle Is my outfit really that nice? Does it suit me so much that you keep thinking and eyeing me?” Kaeya’s face gets closer to theirs, the twos lips inches apart. His arm gently resting around (_____)’s shoulders, a smirk appearing on his face. “So, are you going to tell me or..?” Kaeya asks, making (_____) nervous and a tiny bit of a blushing mess. (_____) tells Kaeya what they had been daydreaming about. About the places they wanted to go with them. Kaeya’s smirks even more, he chuckles and speaks again. “Well, how about we do that? There is enough time still.” (_____) is slightly taken aback by his question but is used to them since its Kaeya. “Sure.. I Mean-Yes! Yes, I’d love to go with you. awkward chuckles/laughter” Kaeya kisses their cheek and runs his fingers through their hair, and then stroking their cheek as he stands up. “See you soon~” Kaeya winks and walks off, leaving a very blushing (_____) on the bench. (_____) scrambles to get up and run to the place that they're staying at.

As they get ready their nerves start to act up. “Oh come on (_____) its not that big of a deal! You’ve been on 5 dates with Kaeya already! Your just going to get some lunch, play some games, go to the thing we fixed and ride it around, and then finally ride the Choo-Choo Cart around.” (_____) stands still and breathes, calming themselves down. They continue to get ready and leave on time to meet Kaeya at outside. (_____) sees Kaeya and walks up tp him. “You ready?” They ask, Kaeya nods and offers his arm. “Whenever your ready darling.” (_____) takes his arm as they walk to the restaurant. Kaeya and (_____) eat their food and play some games. Kaeya winning (_____) a flying fox stuffed animal. (_____) leading Kaeya up the path and onto the platform. The two hold onto each other as it moves, Kaeya rubbing their back affectionately. “(_____)” Kaeya calls, (_____) in return looks up at him with curiosity, wondering what he wants or needs. Kaeya cups their faces as they start to reach the top, a faint blush creeping up on Kaeya’s face. “(_____), we’ve been chasing after each other for a while now. And even gone out together a couple of times. I think.. No. I know I love you, I want you to be my lover and I want to be yours. Would you be my lover?” Kaeya asks, the blush now fairly obvious on his face. (_____) smiles up at him, a blush on their face as well. “I would love to be your lover and you be mine. I love you Kaeya.” “I love you as well (_____).” Kaeya responds as the two lean forward and finally kiss. They kiss at the same time they reach the very top. It felt like the world froze and it was just the two of them. Like everyone and everything disappeared, it was just them. They went back down and for the rest of the night they rode the Choo-Choo Cart. The two of them snuggled up together under a blanket. (_____) playing and tracing Kaeya’s rings and hands. Kaeya holding them close, once and a while he gently starts playfighting with (_____)’s hands. Kaeya kissing their cheek and (_____) in return kissing his back. The two basking in each other’s presence as the Choo-Choo Cart goes peacefully along the track.
