On this day in 1992, “Death Becomes Her” bewitched us! Originally intended as a “Tales from the Crypt” movie, this weird ‘n’ wild black comedy features the same A-movie approach to B-material that made “Tales” a ho-wl! Speaking o’ “Tales,” co-producer Robert Zemeckis directed this lavish production with cartoonish flair and manic energy. The film wasn’t a hit at the time, but it has garnered a significant cult following, especially amongst the LGBT community. Reanimated corpses, witches, and black magic… these are a few of my GRAVE-orite things!
